Sean Hannity got a little frustrated with Ted Cruz during a radio interview this afternoon over his campaigns delegate game.
Cruz said he doesnt think most people care about this stuff. Hannity shot back by invoking his millions of followers and saying plenty of people find this whole process confusing.
When Cruz dismissively said only Donald Trumps people are complaining, Hannity kind of blew up:
Senator, why do you do this? Every single timeno, you gotta stop! Every time I have you on the air and I ask you a legitimate question, you try to throw this in my face, Im getting sick of it!
Cruz testily asked, Sean, can I answer your last question without being interrupted?
He explained how the system works and how the noise and complaining and whining is only coming from Team Trump. Hannity shot back that people have serious issues and its a simple question, its not a Trump question.
(video at link)
At one point, Hannity said, Senator, I dont know why youre mad. Cruz said hes not mad, hes just irked that hes asking only about the nonsense and not about policy.
Hannity insisted he has asked the senator about policy plenty of times and simply wants to address
Listen to the entire interview above, via The Sean Hannity Show.
It’s not crazy, Yeb! was their number 1 choice all along.
“I heard it. Hannity was unusually rude. I was surprised he was so interruptive.”
You mean every other phrase wasn’t “my friend”? Are we sure it was Hannity?
Well Trump can go into Co and WY and “buy” back those delegates from cruz and other delegates cruz has won in other states. THEN we’ll see what happens.
Ted is so obnoxious. I listened to the whole interview and got a headache. He said nothing just shotgun words and no real substance.
Man, what an arrogant POS. Cruz is really starting to unravel and loose touch with reality. It’s going to be an absolute joy to watch this lying fraud crash and burn.
I think you have nailed it. Cruz is so arrogant though, I actually think that he believes they would allow him the nomination.
Which they might if they really would rather have Hillary win.
I’m not going to debate right vs wrong, etc.
What I do want to point out is that Ted Cruz is a Lawyer first, politician second. It comes out very strongly in how he talks to people and how he ‘works’ the system as it is.
On the other hand I am pretty sure his entire ‘circle’ of friends, acquaintances, etc. are very much like he is and so his world view is that everyone else that counts is much the same as he is. If so then he might not realize that the VAST majority of Americans hold Lawyers in low esteem. Because of the legal system they’ve managed to create we do need them but just because you need their services doesn’t mean that they are liked.
Did you actually listen to the whole interview. Cruz monopolized the airtime and just spammed and talked over the questions.
Is that really your go to excuse for Trump’s previous liberal political positions? You’re pathetic.
Let’s see:
Build the wall. - Cruz supports this
Enforce the law. - Cruz supports this stronger than Trump
Deport them all. - Cruz supports this but will not let them come back through “touch back” amnesty like Trump.
End sanctuary cities. - Cruz supports this.
End anchor babies. - Cruz supports this
Slap a moratorium on muslim immigration. - Both Cruz and Trump say stop Muslim immigration until the vetting process is fixed
Cut the taxes. - Both say this, except Cruz wants to end the IRS and has a specific plan on a new tax system to replace out current disaster.
Cut the spending. - Cruz plans to eliminate several worthless agencies such as the Dept. of Ed, the Energy Dept., etc.
Cut the regulations. - They agree on this.
Cut the government. - They agree on this.
Cut the debt. - They agree on this.
Cut the EPA.- Cruz goes further than that as explained above.
Repeal ObamaCare. - Cruz is the leader on this.
Get the feds out and allow health insurance to be sold over state lines.
Send education back to states. - Cruz is a leader on this.
Get a handle on trade. - Cruz agrees with this.
Make trade deals in our own best interests.
Bring back capital. - Both agree on this.
Bring back manufacturing. - Both agree on this.
Bring back jobs. - Cruz is focused on this more than almost anything.
Strengthen the economy. - Both agree on this.
Defend the second amendment. - Cruz has done this at the Supreme Court. Trump used to be a gun control guy.
Defend religious freedom. - Cruz also defended this at the Supreme Court. Trump really doesn’t say much about this.
Appoint constitutional conservative judges. - Cruz speaks often about the critical need for this and why we have to defeat the DEMS because of this.
Rebuild our military. - Cruz speaks about this a great deal.
Bomb the shit out of ISIS (and take their oil). - Cruz gets chided for saying he will “carpet bomb” ISIS.
End political correctness. - Cruz is despised in the Senate by McConnell and company because he calls a spade a spade - namely that McConnell is a liar!
Take the GOP head-on. - This has been Cruz’s hallmark in the Senate.
Take the media head-on. - Cruz was much more effective at this during the debates than was Trump.
Take the liberals head-on. - Both agree on this.
And win, baby, win. - Trumps favorite topic, except when he is boasting about himself.
So what is your beef with Cruz?????
Certainly Cruz is a smart enough guy to know his talking point screen was not an entirely fair characterization of events. But I think he lacks the empathy to realize how shallow and plastic he looks, and how few people he is fooling.
If you don’t like the rules I suggest you elect a like minded moron and change them. Till then we’ll still do it legally.
Cruz demonstrates what everyone from his college dorm mates to fellow Senators have said: he’s an arrogant a$$hole.
How in the heck can you support a lying, sleazy Establishment candidate that is losing, will continue to lose and, at best, is being used by GOP-E to replace Trump with Lyin’ Ryan?
Einstein defined your behaviour as “insane stupidity”...not unlike leftist mind-numbed robots.
Ted Cruz reeks phoniness to me.
He sounds programmed and delusional.
Sean had a lot more patience with his evasiveness than I would’ve had.
He refused to answer the question on how he revisits a state already won by his rival and takes the delegates.
I want so badly to see Cruz CRUSHED in this election.
Oops, missed a couple, but you get my point. Cruz and Trump agree on just about everything except how great and wonderful Donald is.
That’s what you need to do with hostile press.
BusTED...
