A hospital is persuading women who want to terminate their pregnancies to have the babies so it can sell them for $1,400 each to childless couples.
The shocking “baby farm” has been exposed at the 30-bed Palash Hospital in the Gwailor district of India. Two of the sold babies have since been rescued by police.

If a mother will decide not to murder her pre-born infant and the family purchasing the child is vetted, I have no problem with this.
Better the infant be sold to a family that will love and nurture than to be sold as torn-off body parts.

Unless this means the birth mother changed her mind.
The devil’s in the details, but an adoptuary beats an abortuary any day. Yes this might be a higher price than is charged to adopt a cat or dog, but a cat or dog is cheaper to keep properly before adoption too.
How are they getting customers that the orphanages can’t get, anyhow?
