Tuesday on Fox News Channels Fox & Friends, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump discussed the unreleased classified portion of the 9/11 report, which some have some speculated ties Saudi Arabia to the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.
Trump argued for their release, adding its sort of nice to know who your friends and enemies are.
I think we should have seen it a long time ago, Trump said. And you know, I think I know what its going to say. Its going to be very profound having to do with Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabias role on the World Trade Center and the attack. Its very serious stuff. Ive said it for a very long time we attacked Iraq and frankly, by attacking Iraq they were not the ones that knocked down the World Trade Center. Ive been saying that for a long time. Lets see what the papers say. I think they should have been released a long time ago. I think theyre finally going to be at least in some form released. You know, its sort of nice to know who your friends are, and perhaps who your enemies are. But youre going to see some revealing things in those papers and I look forward to reading them.

Bush Defends Assertions of Iraq-Al Qaeda Relationship
Washington Post
June 18, 2004
While not explicitly declaring Iraqi culpability in the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, administration officials did, at various times, imply a link. In late 2001, Cheney said it was “pretty well confirmed” that attack mastermind Mohamed Atta had met with a senior Iraqi intelligence official. Later, Cheney called Iraq the “geographic base of the terrorists who had us under assault now for many years, but most especially on 9/11.”
Bush, in 2003, said “the battle of Iraq is one victory in a war on terror that began on September the 11th, 2001.”
Beyond the Sept. 11 attacks, administration officials have also suggested that there had been cooperation between Iraq and al Qaeda that went beyond contacts. Bush last year called Hussein “an ally of al Qaeda.” Just this Monday, Cheney said Hussein “had long-established ties with al Qaeda.”
In January, Cheney said the “best source” of information on the subject was an article in the Weekly Standard, which reported: “Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein had an operational relationship from the early 1990s to 2003 that involved training in explosives and weapons of mass destruction, logistical support for terrorist attacks, al Qaeda training camps and safe haven in Iraq, and Iraqi financial support for al Qaeda — perhaps even for Mohamed Atta — according to a top secret U.S. government memorandum.”
Bush, in a February 2003 radio address, said: “Iraq has sent bombmaking and document forgery experts to work with al Qaeda. Iraq has also provided al Qaeda with chemical and biological weapons training. And an al Qaeda operative was sent to Iraq several times in the late 1990s for help in acquiring poisons and gases. We also know that Iraq is harboring a terrorist network headed by a senior al Qaeda terrorist planner. This network runs a poison and explosive training camp in northeast Iraq, and many of its leaders are known to be in Baghdad.”

Those images are many years old. That’s not much of deterrent for thousands of unscrupulous employers who look at profits now, yet couldn’t care less about future consequences. Why should they? They won’t be in business decades from now anyway.
If illegals caused that much of an issue with unscrupulousness employers and it was a deterrent for employers, we wouldn’t have millions entering the U.S., getting hired to work for 8 bucks an hour with a smile.
Profits now, what happens later is of little consequence to them. The burden will fall on the general tax paying population and future generations.
Re: Your post 55 and 63
Sounds to me that you have some kind of an axe to grind for some reason.
I can assure you I have an axe to grind, based on valid grievances, which are directed not at you, but the corrupt sultans of sham running government.
But, but, but, Obama killed bin Laden? Obama really wanted to close Gitmo, even though he didn’t? Obama has systematically undermined all US alliances? Oops!
The answer to this one? Corruption. Single-party-state machine politics.
