If there's a single issue on which the U.S. and Russia should urgently cooperate, it's Saudi Arabia.
If the Central Intelligence Agency's role is to discreetly promote the economic and political interests of the United States, then there's one country that ought to be awfully disappointing to the agency right now: Saudi Arabia. In fact, if there's an issue on which America and Russia could potentially agree, it would be the damage Saudi Arabia has recently wrought upon the national and economic security of both nations.

That’s a towering “if.” There are agencies already tasked with promoting our interests. The CIA should be gathering intelligence, not propagandizing.

The CIA shouldn’t exist at all, it’s inherently incompatible with representative government.
Any such move would need to reviewed by Jammy Hussein Obama.

Russia is fighting like all eastern countries fight....they attack, withdraw and make you react... repeat and rinse. Only in the west do we just line up and fight.
It's an ideological war for the world. It's never stopped since the first world war and in 1000 years the years from 1912 to whenever are going to be seen as one continuous ideological war between the individual and the state.
I'll be dead and even my kids might be gone but there is still at least one more world wide war in our future. It's always when we are weak that other countries mistake that for cowardice as opposed to not wanting war.

I’d like to see US + China + Russia + India gang up and wipe out Islam.
And when there are no more Muslims plaguing the world, burn every copy of the Koran. Then flush the ashes of the Korans. Then destroy every digital copy. Then burn every page that refers to Mohammed, Islam or Muslims. Erase it from history.

Communism and Islamism are on the same team. Kevin Freeman’s book, “Secret Weapon”, gives a very clear, documented picture of that.
And Obama is and has always been on that team.
I’ve come to believe that the Babylon of Revelation is the world banking system, and it is going to collapse at the hands of the beast out of the sea and the beast out of the earth (one of which is corrupt government - communism - and the other of which is corrupt religion - Islam). They will do it by jizya - a tax on infidels, which amounts to not being able to buy or sell unless you accept sharia, the mark of the beast.
Ultimately the two beasts in service to the dragon (Satan) will fight each other. By then, those who follow Christ will all be dead. People still alive will all wish they were dead. Imagine a world where your choice is Stalin or ISIS... I’m glad I’ll be gone by then. I suspect it will be pretty soon...
Russia and China have been united for a decade already. And Obama’s on their side what with being pro-Iran; tells me all I need to know.

There has been a concerted effort by some of the neocon types after 9/11 to whitewash the American Military Industrial Complex foreign policy support to jihadis from the 1980s onwards.
They want to somehow link al-Qaeda with the USSR rather than the CIA. They use examples of the USSR supporting the PLO types as "evidence" but the PLO was actually not Islamic in outlook and was founded by Arab commies who were from Christian and Muslim Pali backgrounds.
The USSR and modern Russia and the current Red Chinese are fighting Islamist insurgencies and have been for a long time. The US state Dept of Repubs and Dems (makes no difference) has been hammering Russian and China on human rights abuses against Muslim jihadists and in effect giving the jihadists cover (See neocon efforts supporting Chechens and see Chinese Uighurs).

Russian communism is an ideology. An ideology which replaces religion. There is only one true religion—Islam. Therefore, Islam and Russia are highly unlikely to ever be serious allies. Russia has supported Assad because they need access to southern waters. In this case the Mediterranean. Also, Assad’s version of Islam is NOT supported by the dominant, Saudi supported, Sunni branch. Side note: my son has 20 years in Special Forces, and the 82nd, tour in Gulf War I, 2 tours in Afghanistan. I pay close attention to this stuff.
You are right, this is the long war, but most Americans do not understand that. However, it started more than 1000 years ago, not in WWI, and will continue far into the future. I gave my son a copy of Machiavelli’s The Prince when he was 14. He understands the long war. And he decided he would be interested in war, not the reverse. The Chinese also understand importance of the long view. We really need to educate for that.
