Ted Cruz on Wyoming win: "This is how elections are won in America."
Once again, voters are not represented in the process. Instead, "votes" for the nominee are gained by backroom politics. Another corrupt process by the GOP establishment.
From Fox News:
Ted Cruz on Saturday won all 14 delegates in the Wyoming GOP convention -- a relatively small number but enough for the Texas senator to declare victory and keep GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump from securing the nomination.
We are likely to have a battle in Cleveland to decide who is the nominee, Cruz told party members before they picked the delegates. If you dont want to see Donald Trump as the nominee, then I ask you to please vote for the men and women on this slate.
The Wyoming process mirrored that of Colorado, which was engulfed by political controversy after hosting a similar convention last week.

You do know that Cruz won 66% of the popular vote in Wyoming last month right?
This “Voterless” stuff is a lie - don’t buy it.
Another blog no one heard of before last week?

Kind of like the sh*t you post about Trump 24/7 a$$hole!
This guy is not smart. He should quietly collect his delegates if that’s the way the game is played and keep his big mouth shut. But he can’t stop talking - like all Harvard lawyers.
And what, perchance, was Ungentlemanly?
The truth?
Truth is never out of style.
I stand corrected. First ballot votes are bound proportionally to caucus votes. Delegates are chosen at the state convention next month.
Yes but if “Your State” wants a candidate named Bob Smith or even named Republican Bob Smith, and “Other State” wishes to vote for that person, then private RNC in “Any State” cannot interfere.
That is tampering with a Federal Election, very well defined in the US Constitution. It matters not when, where, private or public.
Limiting other States’ access to that person is a crime.
It is done through a criminal Monopoly, which I won’t explain.
You are so right. The Daily Caller has been covering the (Radical Anti-) “White Privilege Conference” in DC. The inmates are running the asylum.
There was a time when only property owners were allowed to vote.
Which leads to the question, if 47% pay no income tax, why are they allowed to vote?
Is voting that “right” perhaps a privilege to be “earned?”
Mafia is in government and possibly unions like the teamsters, so of course he has had to deal around mafia types his whole career.
Why would you expect he wouldn’t have to have dealt around them?
Planning commissions, zoning, Union construction sites.
I suppose you could just shoot the messenger.
Wouldn’t change the FACTS, but that’s never been a problem, now, has it?
Run the creepy slimy unlikable Canadian lawyer and it’s 4-8 years of Hillaty
My problem with it was and is, despite one’s like or dislike for Trump, like or dislike for Cruz, there is a time when it’s time to stop parsing everything one’s opponent says, and posting it in Breaking News.
As JR has so wisely said, when this is all over, no matter who the winner is, we ALL have to work together to defeat Hillary.
ALL the candidates, and ALL of us FR should ALL be better than a continuation of the 3d grade girls playground hair-pulling fight this campaign has become.
I guess they have NO USE for us anymore, the transformation from Liberty to Oligarchy seems to be complete.
Perhaps that is why they ANNOUNCE their tyranny with PRIDE.
They simply no longer care what we think, say, or do. We are no longer needed.
I wonder, if they are traitors to the will of the American People, what does that make those who support/follow them?
Nicely played
If you are offended you can always change the channel
It wasn’t complacency. DJT said in an interview yesterday that he had determined that the process in those states basically boiled down to buying/bribing the delegates, and that he felt that was wrong and simply did not want to participate in the process.
He said it was a good lesson for the people to see what the system really was, and he is right. We sure did get a lesson.
Cruz doesn’t have a ground game. He’s got briefcases full of GOPe Walking Around money for these delegates. They couldn’t be more pleased.
Well.. I don’t think Cruz cheated.. he was playing by the rules-— but the rules do stink and I hope we can can change them before the next election cycle...
There won't be another GOP election cycle if Cruz steals it. The part will be dead and I can't say that they don't deserve it.
I vote in CA...but I was in Reno last month..does that count? ;-) Point is if you don’t like the caucus system, get on your local Republican Central Committee and vote to change it back to a “normal” primary election run by your local county elections department. Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Kansas, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, North Dakota, Wyoming and Iowa all have “similar” caucuses where EVERY GOP voter has a chance to elect delegates pledged to a certain candidate...only travel needed is to your local precinct. Trump took NV, no problem, (he is even offering to pay expenses of his delegates!?) http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-gop/3421928/posts He didn’t win CO or WY, and it’s the end of the world and “nobody got to vote”! :-O
