Trump: Colorado took voters out of election because of me
Washington Examiner ^ | 4/17/16 | Daniel Chaitin

Donald Trump on Sunday accused the Colorado Republican Party of changing the rules of its nomination process because of his campaign.

Speaking in Staten Island, N.Y., the businessman and GOP front-runner noted that he announced his campaign on June 16, 2015. Trump said that iwas two months later, in August, when the Colorado GOP's executive committee decided to give the power to delegates, not the voters, to decide whom they would support.

Last weekend Texas Sen. Ted Cruz completed a sweep of all the state's 34 delegates.

"Just so you understand. They keep saying 'we didn't change the rules' ... they totally did," Trump said Sunday. "I came out in June, they saw I was going to win Colorado easily with the voters, which is most important, so they changed the rules and they took the voters out of it and they had the party bosses make the selection."

Yup, those demons who run the Colorado GOP had it in for Donald Trump all the way back in August of last year.

Mr. Trump needs to make them pay for their arrogance and prescience! Anybody who is opposed to Trump needs to be immediately deported to Canada, along with Lyin, Vote-Stealin, Delegate-Poachin Ted, the Canadian double agent who works for the globalist banking cabal.

‘We hate the establishment, and need someone who will fight for the lil’ guy, so we want a wealthy democrat that brags about buying politicians!’ ‘That’ll learn em’

The only thing in Colorado that was different in 2016 was that the non-binding straw poll was eliminated. How does someone voting in a non-binding poll make a difference anyway? It’s just a waste of money.

Trump is wrong on this. They screwed Santorum last time. Santorum won the straw poll at the convention with nearly 40% of the vote but almost all the delegates went to the #2 guy - Romney.

Notice I believe this was a straw vote of people in the actual room

The Colorado system is a slave to the GrOP-E

“If only the Trumpkins knew how they sounded!”

And if the Cruz followers knew that everyone views them as Hillary supporters….

The Colorado GOP bosses did not allow the Republicans to vote, and Colorado’s electoral votes are going to Clinton.

You think that anyone opposed to Trump should be “immediately deported?” I hope the majority of Trump supporters don’t share your sentiments. Melodramatic much or just for rescinding the citizenship of those who disagree with you?

That is almost exactly right, but you missed the part where the Colorado gop was being directed from DC gopE. You know, the people supporting cruz.

Last August I don't think anyone other than Trump thought that he would anything.

All you are doing is proving your IQ is less than room temperature.

Leftist don’t have Reagan’s whole platform in inside their own.

Actually, they knew Trump was coming way back in 1912 - that is when the delegate selection method they used was first introduced.

"Nomination process known for a year + beyond. It's the responsibility of the campaigns to understand it. Complaints now? Give us all a break," Priebus tweeted.

I didn't realize that August 2015, when the CO GOP changed the rules, was over a year ago.

First, CO GOP changed the rules in August to leave the delegates unbound until the national convention. Then they had a surprise state convention to bind the delegates anyway. We know they told the Cruz campaign--but did they inform the Trump campaign at the same time? Or did they wait until the last minute to tell the Trump campaign about the state convention?

I love the fact that Trump is highlighting the irregularities of the Cruz camp. Cruz is dropping like a rock.

The public’s opinion is shown...THAT makes a difference...

The Colorado GOPe didn’t want the public’s opinion out there for everyone to see....

The nominating system is crap. We need a system that reflects the will of the voters, and if we can’t have that, don’t expect any support from the voters.

EXACTLY!!!

They knew that the Savior of the Country was going to be running against a deep cover double agent for the globalist bankers that was put in place personally by Fidel Castro and Nikita Khrushchev. And they knew that the globalist bankers were going to have a communist revolution in Russia that was going to allow Khrushchev to come to power in order to be able to do so.

FINALLY, somebody understands the big picture here.

Whew!

My I.Q?

Maybe you are correct. I’m still trying to figure out what, “Leftist don’t have Reagan’s whole platform in inside their own.” means.

It’s a puzzle for a simple minded fellow like myself!

The reason the non binding straw poll was abandoned was because the RNC had ruled that this election cycle states had to allocate delegates on the basis of a straw poll or primary.

I got this from Rush Limbaugh in his first hour Friday.

Apparently Colorado didn’t want Jeb! to be missing out on all those establishment delegate votes.

Yeah, yeah, Trumpkins represent ‘EVERYONE’.

Trump has divided the party, and that is not merely my opinion. It is obvious, and win/lose the nomination, the GOP will be in the worst shape in my lifetime to win an election, and an election the GOP should win, if history is your guide.
