GOP New Yorkers Reject Ted Cruz At GOP GALA.

Posted on 04/15/2016 6:38:39 AM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX

Last evening was neither a pleasant nor productive event for Ted Cruz. Writing relative to the GOP Gala event last evening, held in the "Donald Trump built) Hyatt Regency Hotel on Park Avenue/Grand Central Station, "Politico" writers, Jimmy Viekland & Ben Schreckinger wrote: "regarding the speeches given by John Kasich & Ted Cruz--- "but, back inside, Trumps rivals were getting an icy/cool reception". Cruz mouthed some idiotic verbage, and was totally ignored by the crowd of NY STATE, GOP Biggies. Trump was "Their Man"!!!

"The audience, however, was totally uninterested in what Cruz & Kasich had to say, applauding so indiffertently, that at the end of the speeches, Emcee Cox, urged the audience to try again with another ovation--to very litte or no effect. Folks, New York Republicans have the "real" "readout on losers John Kasich & Ted Cruz, and they want no part of either of them. And to add, insult and injury to both Kasich and Cruz....the massive New York Post" endorsed Donald J. Trump for POTUS last evening.

Methinks....Ted Cruz has seen better days. HIs poll numbers are dropping like a heavy anchor thrown into a deep sea!!! The Mr. Cruz days of fifteen minutes of fame are coming to a rapid end....over the next few weeks. Sad....that so many good, decent folks have been conned by this shyster Ted Cruz and his bevy of GOP Establishment "Rats". GO DONALD J. TRUMP!!!

What a shame. I’m sure Cruz was counting on being the most popular guest there.

That protest was about as successful as the “Democracy Spring” protest last week that was supposed to be the biggest demonstration in history or something hyperbolic like that.

Something goofy happened about halfway through his speech with the audio. Listen for yourself.

I don’t mind people posting news stories or opinion pieces. Just include the URL and the Citation to the actual author.

I’ve seen several posts by JLAGRAYFOX where he doesn’t include URL and doesn’t include source or attribution.

They were pretty much hemmed in, NYPD are skilled at handling protests unlike Chicago where it seems like they didn't even try...

"Meanwhile, in Manhattan, an actual fight was taking place - between anti-Trump protesters and security guards outside the Hyatt hotel, where Mr Trump was attending a Republican gala dinner."

"Crowds blocked the pavements hoisting aloft placards reading: “No to racism!” An estimated 1,000 people converged on the hotel – which was originally built by Mr Trump – ahead of the gala."

VERY surprised at NY Post endosement. IIRC it’s a Murdoch operation. So far Murdoch & Co. have not been Trump fans. Guess they’re reading tea leaves and accepting the inevitable.

They are just reflecting their “New York Values”.

Don’t you know that this guy is a serial Trump vanity poster. As if anyone cares about his opinion. I think he just needs an ego stroking at least twice a day to make himself feel important.

I don’t care. I’m a Trump supporter and will never support Cruz.

I just don’t like him stealing work from others. If you don’t provide citation, then you’re plagiarizing and in often cases copyright infringement.
