With his two young daughters just feet away from him, Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz told the bizarre story of how he watched porn with Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor.
The Texas senator, his wife Heidi and their daughters — 8-year-old Caroline and 5-year-old Catherine — all took the stage at a CNN town hall Wednesday night, which also featured a strange story about Cruz's love of canned soup.
Before discussing his relationship with his wife and Caroline’s upcoming birthday party, Cruz discussed how he once had to watch porn as part of his duties as a law clerk for the Supreme Court, a strange tale he first recounted in his 2015 memoir.

So last year, I wrote a book called “A Time for Truth.” And in the book, one of the chapters is talking about the year I spent as a law clerk at the Supreme Court. And it describes — the chapter begins with me watching pornography on the Internet with Sandra Day O’Connor, which was a bit of a bizarre experience.

It was the first of the Internet porn cases to go to the court, and the court librarians were showing the justices what the Internet was, and they’d pull it up, and the story I told, I was clerking for Chief Justice Rehnquist. They paired the chief justice and Justice O’Connor and their law clerks were in this little room looking at this computer screen that pulls up hardcore porn. And Justice O’Connor — I still remember, she leaned forward and she squinted and said, “Oh, my!”
But the Marco piece of this — so the book comes out and there were some — you know, reporters thought that was a funny story, so they wrote about that story. And I’m on a plane and Marco texts me and says, “Holy cow, you watched porn? Our oppo researchers missed that.”

Now that was funny. And listen, he’s got a good sense of humor. I laughed when he sent that text.

As far as the creepy, though, it pales in comparison to Trump talking about how he watched porn, with his current wife, of his friend’s daughter, a girl he’d known since she was 12.

The video makes no point other than that Cruz was a cool enough guy to have been watching hard core porn with Supreme Court justices. Which is old news.

I watched and it is an MSNBC report on the part where Trump describes Marla a Maples getting pregnant and saying “what are we going to do about this”.
What a creepy guy and perverted guy. Can’t imagine what those poor girls here at home about the evil of “toys”, hc porn, and other unsuitable conversations for girls that age.
It would be one thing if super-cougar Sandra Day O'Connor had picked up young daddy Cruz for a drunken one-night stand.
But that's not what happened. This story is legitimate news because it discloses how SCOTUS deliberates on such cases. And we should thank Cruz for it. Because we are subject to the jurisdiction of SCOTUS. And it is our right to know!

I understand your point, that we should know how the Supreme Court makes decisions. I thought the whole procedure was undignified. Maybe it’s just me, avoiding talking about a person’s individual thoughts about things. I wouldn’t say anything stronger than saying she seemed uncomfortable.

I DON’T CARE that Trump is an adulterer and has never asked for forgiveness. At least not when it comes to voting for him for president. I’m not going to let that cause me to stay home or vote for someone worse.
I care that he will secure the border, defund Planned Parenthood, and negotiate great trade deals.
AND I especially don’t care if Cruz answered a question about the porn case he worked on with the Supreme Court. And I don’t care if he used the word “pornography” in front of his daughters. He’s a big boy and can decide how he wants to raise his own kids.
My first comment was to point out that the whole purpose of you posting this idiotic article was to insult Cruz about a non-issue. Yet, as you PROVED, Trump devotees and worshippers start having aneurisms if anyone dares make the slightest criticism of their god.
It is truly frightening when a political figure has such slavish devotion. It is scary that Obama has his followers calling him messiah. And people like you are equally scary.
So take your filthy comments, your f-bombs, and go talk to someone who is interested in the garbage you are selling. It ain’t me.
People like you make it really hard for people like me to vote for Trump. But I will, in spite of you, for the sake of the country, if he gets the nomination. But, whether he wins or loses, he is a human being with flaws like everyone else. And I am never going to pretend otherwise about any politician. He and Cruz both will get my criticism when it is deserved. And when it is undeserved, I will just as happily direct my criticism to people like you who deserve it.
