Last week, many 2nd Vote members asked about alternative ways to make and process online payments after e-commerce giant PayPal joined the liberal misinformation campaign in North Carolina. The California based company announced that it would stand against North Carolina’s common sense protections for small business owners and religious liberty and withdrew plans for a global operations center in Charlotte in an attempt to bully the state economically.
Subsequently, our research team noticed a growing company called ProPay that provided many products for online merchants.
After looking very closely at ProPay’s record of advocacy on the issues, the company has earned a score of 3.6 (Lean Conservative) according 2nd Vote’s scoring criteria.

I have never in my life bought anything from Ebay.
I mean this in a positive sense: What are its best features? Purchases?
Whatever you can provide.

Don’t talk snotty about the Salvation Army; the only charitable organization that ever gave this Marine L/Cpl a meal and a place to sleep when he got back home on leave and was waiting for the paperwork and payroll to catch up.

I actually buy a lot on eBay, such as a cord for your smartphone (99 cents, free shipping), phone battery ($3), wireless shutter release for my digital camera ($4), etc., etc. Their prices greatly beat even Wal-Mart on most items. A lot of things that aren’t available anywhere in a small town can be found easily on eBay.
I also collect a lot of old things, such as ancient coins, old documents (11th-18th century), pre-1930 original major league baseball photos, etc. You can’t find these in any quantity at your local dollar store or yard sale.
Just a sample. You can find just about anything there.

Yeah, I got the email from 2nd Vote a couple days ago. No idea if it’s eBay-compatible.

Just ran across an interesting situation. I was given an eBay gift card. When I tried to use it, I found out that I could not use it unless I had a PayPal account. It turns out that the gift card was issued by PayPal. Sneaky.
