Last week, many 2nd Vote members asked about alternative ways to make and process online payments after e-commerce giant PayPal joined the liberal misinformation campaign in North Carolina. The California based company announced that it would stand against North Carolina’s common sense protections for small business owners and religious liberty and withdrew plans for a global operations center in Charlotte in an attempt to bully the state economically.
Subsequently, our research team noticed a growing company called ProPay that provided many products for online merchants.
After looking very closely at ProPay’s record of advocacy on the issues, the company has earned a score of 3.6 (Lean Conservative) according 2nd Vote’s scoring criteria.

Propay website: http://www.propay.com/
ProPay is connected to Salvation Army and is solid on first amendment, life, and moral issues.
They are not at this time processing firearms purchases. I can’t find the basis for that, whether insurance or legal issues, persuasion, or religious belief about pacifism or such.

I am not sure but I think the Salvation Army is somehow affiliated with the Quakers.

Unfortunately a large percentage of PayPal purchases are done through eBay, in which PayPal is the default payment method. We either need another suitable alternative to eBay, or we need to put pressure on eBay.

From what I read earlier about ProPay, they are an accepted method of transaction on Ebay.

Yep the Ebay and Paypal tagteam liberal scam persuaded me to never use them again years ago. I imagine it is still a big operation, but I don’t know that it has grown at the rate they wanted. I just use Amazon or local FB groups now new/used items if need be. I found an old Confederate flag we were gifted with and put it up on FB local trade and it sold within minutes. Next day at local grocery store money exchanged hands and Ebay/Paypal never saw a cent of it.

This is from the ProPay site...
ProPay also offers flexible solutions for home owners associations, property management companies, lending institutions and auction sites such as eBay.

Good. I despise Paypal. I quit selling on Ebay because of it.

Paypal pulled jobs out of NCarolina because of a new law concerning cross-dressing.

According to eBay, only a select few listing categories can use other online payment services. So there is no alternative to Paypal on eBay for most transactions.
