Donald Trump vented Monday over the delegate fight on which his campaign has been repeatedly outfoxed, slamming the situation in Colorado as a "crooked deal."

The “delegate fight” is a fundamental, corrupt part of the primary process - (as practiced in Colorado)

The fake grassroots GOP party hobbyists are running into the brick wall of the REAL grassroots. That Trump got a higher percent of the vote in Florida than Cruz did in his HOME STATE is all you need to know about what the real grassroots is and who they are backing.

It’s not Cruz’s fault that Trump is a moron. Trump supporters who know the truth are willfully promoting the false narrative that the Colorado vote was rigged.

Thank you for the link. It cleared up some of the controversy.

I suppose Trump didn't bother putting together a state by state organization because he figured he would just win walking away. It's going to be pretty tough to put one together at this late date. I guess that explains why he wants to portray everything that's going badly as a "shady deal". No doubt if the roles were reversed Trump would say that Cruz is failing because he's incompetent.

I would call this “The Art of the Deal”. Trump simply was out played.

Most Cruz supporters are sexually repressed evangelicals or Mormons who are guilty of some past aggression they just can’t seem to resolve.

I use to think that but now I see Cruzers more as the porch conservatives on the GOP plantation. The same folks who happily voted for loser McCain, loser Romney, etc. They are happy that the beltway GOP pays lip service to social issues while not advancing the social conservative issues one inch. Ted Cruz’s GOP has funded the murder of a mountain of babies. Yet he gets a total pass for that. Interesting.

That is what he will always say.

Getting mad is all he is about.

Trump blasts delegate fight as ‘crooked deal'

That simple message may well work for Trump. People are sick of all this lawyer trickery.

According to a story I heard this a.m., the rules for CO delegate apportionment were set last summer.

How then is it crooked for Cruz to follow the rules? How is it that Trump's aides neglected their homework while Cruz aides knew the rules?

Trump would have certainly taken advantage of this were he to have known about it. He has indicated on numerous occasions particularly regarding bankruptcy proceeding that he only took advantage of the laws on the books like any other businessman.

So Cruz follows the rules and he is a crook? Hmmmm

You mean the rules created by the GOPe to stop the Tea Party from removing them from power?

Cruz is winning nothing here. This is the work of the GOPe machine using party insiders who have been in place since before the primaries began. They may claim they are for Cruz for the slow learners but the fact is they have no loyalty to Cruz.

This is why the GOPe is so smug they have control of the nomination process Wake up Cruzers, your boy was taken over by the GOPe and is nothing more then a Rino Nominating political machine now.

Sorry to have offended you. It's just too easy to get carried away these days! Therefore, as Mr. Trump sometimes does after making an intemperate remark, please allow me to restate my comment, without the blatant sexual innuendo: If Mr. Trump and his staff had been able to work a “deal” like this one, I guess some of the Trump supporters would be writhing in orgasmic delight bubbling with joy, while telling us that the Colorado coup had proven once again how br

I would NOT support Trump peeing on your vote. What part of that do you not get? Right is right, wrong is wrong. I do not believe in the 'whatever it takes' notion. There was NO deal made in Colorado. Wallow in your short lived thievery and liberal antics because what goes around comes around.

Just hope the death of the GOP isn’t this year because the pussy cat with nine lives is waiting by the litter box.

A winning strategy involves electing your delegates at the precinct level and then the county/district level and on to the state conventions. A candidate must get their supporters to attend at each level to influence the delegates chosen for the next level.

Trump didn't even plan far enough ahead to have his children register for the Republican Party in time to vote for him. You can scream and whine all you want, but poor planning is to blame here.

There is something wrong. I am stunned by how many Cruz supporters can recount all the 'juicy' exploits of Trump's sex life... using photos of his wife's work to pretend to shame voters. Then go acting all holier than thou... and become crazed when reports surface that Cruz has a zipper problem. The Cruz campaign is becoming more and more like the Clintons campaign of 1992. "Primary Colors' volume II.

I'm sure the GOPe knew Cruz and Trump would be neck and neck. I'm quite sure the GOPe knew their candidates (Rubio/Bush) would not be in the race at this point. /sc

There is a rule....40b, that requires a candidate to have won at least 8 states to be eligible to be voted on during the convention. Kasich comes to mind.

If the GOPe changes the rules and drops 40b in an attempt to parachute a candidate in of their choosing...then I believe we have a rule violation on our hands.

Both Trump and Cruz are hated by the establishment, regardless of all the parroting to the contrary. One of these guys will be the nominee...that is of course if Kasich doesn't win 7 more states between now and convention. lol.

To be clear, I'm ok with Trump as the nominee. My candidate is Ted Cruz, he is my senator and very popular in Texas...you know, the most conservative state in the union. I hope Cruz is the nominee, but if Trump picks up his game and hires aides that understand the process, perhaps he'll come out on top. We will see.

Anecdotal but relevant to me....

The most ardent evangelicals I've met and continue to talk with are usually converts from other religions and hold guilt over past discretions - including cheating, abortions and other big deals.

All have "found God" again and are re-virginized and are the first the cast stones at the "whore" "slut" or even someone who gains more attention than them.

I see the same thing in SOOOO many Cruzers.
