Donald Trump Could Be Headed For A Catastrophic General Election Defeat by Jack Mirkinson
April 3, 2016 T Donald Trump could be headed towards a catastrophic general election defeat if he becomes the Republican presidential nominee, according to a host of recent polling and analysis.
There were gasps on Friday when the University of Virginias Larry Sabato posted new projections showing that Trump could lose the Electoral College vote to Hillary Clinton 347-191.
Sabato is not alone in forecasting such a wipeout. Trump is trailing both Clinton and Bernie Sanders by double digits in some national polls.

Give him some credit, he also panders to conservatives and evangelicals. I wonder how well that will work for him in the general election.
Trump trails Hillary in all 8 recent polls by an average of 10.6 points, and the media hasn’t even begun to dredge up his sordid past.
Cruz leads or is tied with Clinton in 3 the of 8 most recent polls and trails by an average of only 2.5 points.
Trust Cruz to lose to Hillary for Goldman Sachs, only Trump would have done well.
God has nothing to do with Ted Cruz.
Cruz hasn’t had to contend with the full might of the left’s propaganda machine. Trump has and all while simultaneously fending off attacks from various GOP ankle biters and the lies of Ted Cruz and his supporters. yet he’s still fighting. Cruz is weak and will be destroyed in the general election.
The way this is going it will be Trump 43% as an Independent, Hillary 39% and Kasich 17% and others the rest.
Maybe some here are paid Cruz staffers?

Keep on clinging to that. But hey, since I have you here why don’t you tell me which Cruz policies the general public will find very popular? Will it be his 19% VAT sale tax? Or his vote against the “Violence Against Women Act.”? What other positions of Cruz will attached general election voters? Inquiring minds what to know.
And BTW, voting against the VAWA was the right thing to do, but he will get curb stomped by Hillery on it.
I think many here have sent money to Cruz actually. That has a way of intensifying resolve. I’m surprised Cruz doesn’t tell them that they can be forgiven by God by sending him their money actually.
Um, no. First of all Kasich will NOT be the nominee. It will be Cruz or Trump.
But hypothetically, if Trump, Kasich and Clinton all ran, Clinton would get be in the high forties to low 50s and neither Trump, nor Kasich would break 40%.
>I think many here have sent money to Cruz actually. That has a way of intensifying resolve. Im surprised Cruz doesnt tell them that they can be forgiven by God by sending him their money actually.
Why would they send Cruz money? Has has 4 billionaires funding him and the entire GOP money machine. Cruz is swimming in cash.
Or maybe some here are actual CONSERVATIVES supporting by far the most CONSERVATIVE candidate in the race over a lifelong LIBERAL who endorsed Bill De Blasio, supported Obama and said Hillary would make a GREAT president.
I’m no where near a Sabato fan, but wanted to throw out his 2012 projection just days before the election. Here in central Va, we get a daily dose of Sabato regardless of what channel you’re watching. http://www.centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/articles/projection-obama-will-likely-win-second-term/

Reading Cruz’s campaign donors list is more like reading the who’s who of amnesty and outsourcing American jobs list. Are you sure you’re not supporting a puppet for billionaires set on selling Americans down the river for 3ed world labor?

Goldman Sachs Cruz makes a great President over Trump?
Cruz has got nothing but his ego and already earned millions of less votes than Trump. He has no appeal, nothing honest about the man beyond the list for power.
His antics with the GOPe, donors, Carson and with delegates will be making the voters want revenge against him IMO.
You misspelled filthy lucre.
:)
How many times has Sabato been right in the last 10 years?
I can’t remember anything.
