Sources say over 23,000 people requested tickets to the event
As of 2:20, a long line of supporters was still lined up at the Rochester Tech Park, waiting to be shuttled to the main event site.
Political Activist Carl Paladino took to the stage at 2:30 to talk about why he supports Trump.
Pastor Mark Burns took the stage after Paladino. He rallied the crowd, getting them to chant "lying Ted" and booing at the "liberal media" in the room.
Trump supporters were turned away when the event reached capacity. They lined up outside of the event and exchanged chants back and forth with protesters across the street. Police are on scene outside monitoring the event and keeping the peace.
After taking the stage Donald Trump says "If I get elected, Rochester is going to boom again. The whole country is going to boom again." He added on that "the American Dream is dead, but I'm going to make it bigger and better than ever," receiving lots of applause and cheers.

I noticed the crowd was even more enthusiastic than past rallies I've watched, seems Trump has massive support in NY, which is reflected in the polls.
On a funny side note, I read Kasich had a townhall yesterday at a community center and retirement home...maybe he's looking for a nice spot to settle down when this is all done and over with. :)
I watched streaing youtube - over 17,000 logged on.
LOL that’s more than voted for Cruz in the entire state of Colorado!!
Four hours away and already a big line for Donald Trump in Rochester NY at Jetsmart Aviation hangar
Western New York is definitely Trump country (Erie County excepted).
Colorado; where the official @cologop actually tweets out; We did it. #nevertrump. It was their mission.
Colorado GOP elites are #nevertrump

#nevertrump is more than a simple political statment - its a mission statement. And it was executed by the Colorado GOP as a mission statement. That is not we-the people.

Some serious additional distance will be put between Trump and Cruz in the delegate count. Cruz will be mathematically eliminated. Then the deal-making will begin in earnest. The Cruzers might be chortling and high-fiving each other now over Cruz's "delegate wrangling" but they are not in a very strong position.

“maybe he’s looking for a nice spot to settle down when this is all done and over with.”
Soft walls might be a good consideration.
.... He rallied the crowd, getting them to chant “lying Ted”
That is totally disgusting, a supposed pastor no less. I read last week Trump lead the crowd in the same chant. No moral compass, no class or decency. No path to the presidency.
Doesn’t matter; the fix is in, and Trump is gonna get cheated.
What is wrong with those people?
Don’t they know his negatives are like 69%?
Don’t they watch the news or listen to Mark Levin????

You have to be kidding. Ted Cruz has called Trump a nazi, a demon, a corrupt whatever and you don’t like “Lyin’ Ted’? Cruz also flat out lies about Trump, claims he’d take away our 2nd Amendment knowing it’s one of Trump’s core issues to protect it.
LOL

Disgusting? No moral compass, class or decency? Come on ... you act as if he's doing something really bad, like ... lying.
Damn! Awesome!
We (husband and I) have two tickets to tomorrow’s rally at the Times Union Center in Albany.
Go Trump!
