Banana Cream Pie
As promised, photos of the segments of the way that I make Banana Cream Pie. I have found that doing the pie and letting it sit in the refrigerator overnight before eating is best.
The sizes of the images have been down-sized to fit even a 14" monitor. Do 14" monitors even exist anymore?
Ingredients:
Keebler extra large graham cracker pie crust for two extra servings.
One large banana or two small bananas. Please note that the banana slices go up the sides of the crust.
Pecan halves, as desired.
Caramel, Butterscotch or Chocolate chips. This time I used Chocolate chips but I prefer Caramal or Butterscotch, as desired. I make these to take to the beauty parlor for Mrs. spel so that I keep rotating the Caramel, Butterscotch and Chocolate chips from one month to the next.
Cherries, as desired. I try to space the cherries so that there is at least one cherry in each slice.
Evaporated Milk, two large cans but uses only about 1-1/3 cans or one large can and one small can and one large Jello-O Instant Banana Cream mix. The directions on the Jell-O package say to beat the contents with a wisk but I am lazy and use a blender. Cherries and pecan halves sometimes float to the top. I have not figured out why it happens or how to prevent it. ;-)
Strawberries, as desired.
Voila! Please note that for this pie there were a few extra banana slices so that I put them around the center. Turn the 'top' of the pie crust cover over and use it to cover the pie while in the refrigerator or you'll get pudding skin! Pudding skin is nasty stuff! LOL Top with aerosol whipped topping, if desired.....but with all of the sweets involved you will definitely get a sugar-high! ;-)

CLASSICAL MUSIC FOR CHAIR DANCING
DVORAK: SYMPHONY #7 in D MINOR, OP. 70, VIVACE POCO MENO MOSSOThis movement is often mistaken for Tchaikovsky. Its a dance known as a sousedska, which uses 6/4, a rare time signature. This has a wonderful sense of propulsion, suitable for office chairs in particular. The transition from the calm middle section to the recap is one of Dvoraks best connecting passages. The ending sweeps everything before it.
Dvorak: Symphony #7 in D minor, Op. 70, third movement

Take Heart!
April 9, 2016
In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.
John 16:33
I like to watch birds at play, so years ago I built a small sanctuary in our backyard to attract them. For several months I enjoyed the sight of my feathered friends feeding and flitting about--until a Cooper's Hawk made my bird refuge his private hunting reserve.
Such is life: Just about the time we settle down to take our ease, something or someone comes along to unsettle our nests. Why, we ask, must so much of life be a vale of tears?
I've heard many answers to that old question, but lately I'm satisfied with just one: "All the discipline of the world is to make [us] children, that God may be revealed to [us]" (George MacDonald, Life Essential). When we become like children, we begin trusting, resting solely in the love of our Father in heaven, seeking to know Him and to be like Him.
Cares and sorrow may follow us all the days of our lives, but "we do not lose heart. . . . For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal" (2 Cor. 4:16-18).
Can we not rejoice, then, with such an end in view?
Lord, we do rejoice even in our struggles because we are rejoicing in who You are and Your good purposes for us. You are powerful, loving, in control, and eternal. We trust You and love You.
Heaven's delights will far outweigh earth's difficulties.
Despite today's text telling the story of Paul's suffering as a follower of Christ, it also carries an implicit message of hope in the phrase "but not" (vv. 8-9). Though Paul suffered in a variety of ways, he was not overwhelmed by his experiences. His hope--and ours--is expressed in verse 17: "Our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all." Bill Crowder

Good evening, Ms Feather...((hugs))...loss of internet yesterday at home. I didn’t know what to do with myself.
But Mom needed me to do things, so I was busy. She’s keeping me pretty busy and short term memory is becoming an issue.
Hope you are doing well. Any birdies in the area?
