For the record...

Meet the Press, 1999:

Russert asked Trump about gay marriage. Trump didn't want to comment on it, but said he has no problem with gays in the military.

He explained, "I've lived in New York City and Manhattan all my life, okay? So my views are a little bit different than if I lived in Iowa."

When Russert asked Trump about abortion, he said he's "pro-choice in every respect" and again cited his New York background, which he said has a "different attitude" from most of the country

Trump told CBN's "The Brody File" [in April 2011] that gay people were "tremendous" and that "there can be no discrimination against gays."

Aug 2015

"It's not the first time Trump has taken a pro-LGBT stance. As far back as 2000, Trump was advocating the idea of amending the 1964 Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation - something the currently-pending Equality Act would basically do if lawmakers on Capitol Hill ever decided to pass it.

"Amending the Civil Rights Act would grant the same protection to gay people that we give to other Americans - it’s only fair," Trump told The Advocate in February, 2000.

In the same interview, Trump said he favored "a very strong domestic-partnership law" that guaranteed same-sex couples equal legal rights as married, heterosexual couples.

Trump also said he believed Don't Ask, Don't Tell - the military's then-ban on openly gay service members - had "clearly failed."

Trump's spokesperson, Hope Hicks, did not immediately respond to msnbc's request for comment on where the presidential candidate stood on the Equality Act. But his longstanding support for ending discrimination against gay people has been well documented. ..."

Trump expects forward motion on gay rights as president

Chris Johnson
February 5, 2016

Donald Trump said forward progress on LGBT right would happen on his administration.

In contrast to other recent remarks, Donald Trump said on Thursday progress on gay rights would continue under his administration and cast himself as a uniter of people regardless of their views on the issue.

Trump made the remarks in New Hampshire just days before the state’s primary in an interview with New England Cable News’s Sue O’Connell, who’s also publisher of the Boston-based LGBT newspaper Bay Windows.

O’Connell, a lesbian, asked Trump if the country can look for more “forward motion” on gay and lesbian rights if he’s elected to the White House.

“Well, you can,” Trump answered.”

And look, again, we’re going to bring people together, and that's your thing and other people have their thing. We have to bring all people together and if we don’t we’re not going to have a country anymore.”

It’s hard to say what kind of forward progress would happen on LGBT rights under a Trump administration.

In a 2000 interview with The Advocate, Trump said he supports amending federal civil rights law to include sexual orientation. Although Trump has said in this election cycle companies shouldn’t fire people for being gay, but hasn’t said whether he still supports amending federal law to achieve that goal or whether he would also support protections for transgender people.

Meanwhile, Trump has signaled qualified support for the First Amendment Defense Act, federal religious freedom legislation seen to enable to anti-LGBT discrimination. An opponent of same-sex marriage, Trump said on Sunday he would consider appointing justices to the Supreme Court who would reverse the ruling in favor of marriage equality.

Gregory Angelo, president of Log Cabin Republicans, said the remarks reveal a glimmer of hope Trump would be a friend to LGBT people in the White House.

“As I’ve long said, putting all else aside — and with Donald Trump, that can, at times, be a herculean task — there is a legitimate case to be made that Donald Trump would be an ally to the LGBT community as President of the United States,” Angelo said. “Trump confirmed that today.”

Pope: you may ignore 2,000 years of dogmatic doctrine that is by the way, still in effect.

The philandering murderous actions of Henry VIII were deemed by the new Pope to actually be ok

This guy is not a man of God. He is an apostate. How his “religion” can continue to follow him and his so called leadership is sickening. First he tells atheists they are able to go to heaven if they do GOOD WORK. Well the BIBLE IS CLEAR, NO QUESTIONS ABOUT IT, it is NOT about WORKS. The Scriptures make it abundantly clear it is what Jesus Christ DID FOR US ON THE CROSS. It is not works, it is faith. Faith plus nothing else. You believe in the finished work of the Cross and nothing else. Death, burial and SUSURRECTION. That is the end of it. Believe in Jesus Christ. Believe in Him and what He did on that Cross. Works send you to Hell!!! The pope needs to get into the Bible that apparently he has never read and studied. Homosexuals are going straight to hell like any other non-believer if they do not repent of their sinful life style and get right with God. I don’t care what else you believe, the Bible is the ONE and ONLY authority on Heaven and hell. What it says is what goes. Believe it or not at your on peril. It has been that way since the beginning. The Bible has had thousands of prophecies over the centuries and they have come true just as the Bible said they would and the remaining prophecies predicted will also come true. Believe it or not. It is that simple. These people are in jeopardy of hell because of this pope’s apostate beliefs, teachings and guidance. My strong suggestion is these people quit listening to this guy and start reading the Bible.

I’ve been deceived before by excerpts from this pope so I’ll proceed with caution.

Homosexuals see the word “acceptance” and think it should mean “endorsement”. I have no problem accepting homosexuals as humans and worthy of all the respect and kindness due any person. I don’t believe they should be beaten or denied most fundamental rights.

My limits would have to do with employment that requires extended time spent with children or which carries religious authority.

Let’s ask the pope whether the Catholic Church is ready to perform gay marriages and see what his answer is. If he says “no”, then he’s saying there are limits to this “acceptance” he is preaching and if he says “yes” then we’ll know he’s a full-blown liberal apostate who think current pop culture is more important than the direction of God’s Word.

Francis did not ask catholics to accept homosexuality. Nor did he ask to accept homosexual marriage or sodomy. He asked to accept gay people and treat them with respect. How else will we begin to help them understand God's word? Push’m away and they'll be lost. Bring them and they will have an opportunity to hear God's word.

Remember folks adultery too is a sin. Murder is a sin.

How many of us guyz have looked at a woman in public or T.V.,Internet or magazine with lust in our hearts to some degree? How many of us wanted to bust some guyz head for being a complete jerk? Scriptures tell us both instances are either murder or adultery.

Well guess what folks, we've all sinned in our hearts and to hold such rigidity and dogma could quite possibly deny someone an avenue to healing.

Lust of the flesh is one of satan’s greatest weapons against God's creation. The other is PRIDE. The spirit of lust has many tentacles. Once a man feels he is free of lust, another tentacle will hook him. It sometimes takes a lifetime of struggle to overcome. Perhaps, this is what is meant by, “take up your cross and follow me”.

There are militant gays that will never come. They would rather die than humble themselves and bow before God. There are others who struggle with these demons of lust. Shall we as children of God give’m a chance?

Catholic Charities collects a lot of money from inner city schools (yes public) to provide social workers.

And.... No NGO is better positioned to profit from globalism more than the Catholic Church.

The Pope is just looking out for the bottom line.

Leviticus 18:22 ► New Living Translation "Do not practice homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman. It is a detestable sin. So, one certainly must wonder what the Pope doesn't understand! Homosexuality is a sin, Sir!
