In her Wednesday column for the New York Daily News, S.E. Cupp delivers a hard blow of realization to the conservative base waking up this morning in blissful denial after a Ted Cruz victory in Wisconsin over likely nominee Donald Trump.
Despite the decisive win in the Badger State for the Texas Senator, writes Cupp, the prospect of a Trump nomination is no longer the stuff of fantasy; instead, a real, “…look at the numbers makes it more than likely that Trump will win the nomination outright — no contested convention, no last-minute saviors.”
It is an idea that the conservative base by and large has been slinging to: divert enough delegates away from the Trump Train in the hopes of forcing a toss-up situation at the Cleveland convention this summer. However, Cupp has admittedly moved onto the stage of acceptance that a Trump nomination is inevitable.

The GOPe should make sure the rules include not only what it takes to win....but what it demands of losers.
Its beyond belief the GOPe allows losers like Cruz to stay in the race after the Man Without a Cuontry has given every possible reason why he should dropout.....including incipient insanity.

Fix the problems? LOL. No. Trumpty-Dumpty cannot put himself back together again. A vote for Donny is a vote for Billary.
My evaluation of the races ahead puts Trump at 1200 excluding the states I’m not sure about like Indiana on May 3rd and West Virginia on May 10th. Cruz comes in around 825.

There is NOTHING more conservative than stopping a permanent democrat/marxist voting majority and doing whats best for the people and the country. By virtue of Mr. Trumps position on illegal immigration he Trumps all others conservatism.

A Cruz/Sanders election would be very interesting. It would be a true ideological battle with a stark choice of sincerely held political philosophies. The American public would learn a great deal about the real issues and the real differences between the left and right.
A Trump/Hillary election would be sickening and stomach-churning, with two people who represent the worst in facile, substance-free politics with all the corruption, the pandering, the condescension, the cynicism, the lying, the smearing...
And he starts cutting deals with Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi as he said he would...
