Donald J. Trumps Republican rivals will be playing catch-up ahead of the New York primary, according to a new poll released on Wednesday that shows the Manhattan businessman holding a substantial lead in his home state.
A survey from Monmouth University found that 52 percent of likely Republican primary voters support Mr. Trump. Gov. John Kasich, who has only won his state of Ohio, comes in second with 25 percent, and Senator Ted Cruz of Texas trails with 17 percent.

Speaking impartially, unless someone show numbers that are different than a month ago, Trump will win the primary.
Cruz was expected to win Wisconsin.
The polls for upcoming states seem to be the same as last month.
Just like I would like to see Trump people pop out some polls that show him doing better than Ted, one needs proof to consider whether trump has taken any hit at all from the past week’s gaffes.
Shocking!!!
Voters will move towards Trump once it is 100% certain that Cruz is going for a brokered convention after New York.
Especially at the voting booth
Cruz will come in dead last in NY. Guaranteed.
They are both going for a brokered convention.
Donny will not get 1237.
Trump will crush Cruz in New York.
The comment Cruz made earlier about New York Values is coming back to bite him in his Obama.
Cruz didn’t have the foresight to look ahead at New York’s 95 delegates and restrain himself from naking a remark many consider disparaging and insulting.
“Guaranteed”
Not surprising but it changes nothing.
And it was a calculated statement, we know what NYC values are.
I think Trump would win NY just as big even if Cruz never made the “NY Values” statement. Certainly it didn’t help Cruz to say that but this is Trump’s home state. He was going to win big there no matter what. Just like Cruz won Texas - probably bigger than Cruz won Texas. We shall see.
We all know he was not speaking of the Adirondacks or the fingerlakes
Let’s look at the fallacy of your statement. In TX, UT, WI, OK - Cruz beat the RCP by an average of 11.5 points. In FL, OH, SC, GA - Cruz beat his RCP by an average of ZERO points. TX, UT, WI all have had rampant allegations of fraud by the Cruz campaign. So basically, in states where the machine backs Cruz, he overperforms, mostly because of probable fraud. You can add caucus states to that tally too. In states where they don’t, Cruz performs to average because they can’t perpetrate fraud, or did it for other candidates, like Kasich in Ohio. Expect Cruz to get massacred in NY and be mathematically eliminated on the 19th.
17,000 CAME OUT TO LONG ISLAND TO THE TRUMP RALLY.
MEANWHILE CRUZ SAW 100 PEOPLE AND HE GOT HECKLED BIG TIME.
MOST SPIRITED RALLY EVER.
Trump is the KING of insulting and disparaging LOL
THAT IS NYC Values
Yeah, always at least by 30 points /s
Go Trump
