Ann Coulter: Moonies for Cruz
Breitbart.com ^ | 6 Apr 2016 | Ann Coulter

Posted on 04/06/2016 6:55:09 PM PDT by Rockitz

Congratulations to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for winning his fourth primary! Usually Donald Trump wins the primaries — where you go and vote, like in a real election. Cruz wins the caucuses — run by the state parties, favored by political operators and cheaters.

Until now, the only primaries Cruz has won are in Texas (his home state), Oklahoma (basically the same state) and Idaho (where Trump never campaigned).

So now, Cruz has finally won an honest-to-goodness primary. This is great news for him, provided: (1) the general election is a caucus, and (2) the national media universally denounce Cruz’s Democratic opponent the same way the Wisconsin media denounced Trump.

In that case, Cruz should do fine.

The Cruz-bots don’t care. They don’t care that they’re being used as a cat’s-paw by the Never Trump crowd, and that a brokered Republican convention is more likely to end with Bernie as the nominee than Cruz.

The Cruz cultists don’t even care about plain honesty, which I always thought was a conservative value. Republicans used to be appalled by guttersnipe, lying political operators like the Clintons. Now they are guttersnipe, lying political operators like the Clintons.

It’s all hands on deck to stop the only presidential candidate who wants to save America from the cheap labor plutocrats.

Cruz has flipped to Trump’s side on every important political issue of this campaign — which only ARE issues because of Trump. These are:

...

These are all positions Cruz has changed since being a senator — most of them he’s flipped on only in the last year.

She wrote a book about how liberals argue by calling people names; I agreed with her premise there that it was a mark of slobbering stupidity.

Of course she’s right. We see the proof of it everyday all day right here.

Especially this:

If James Carville and Paul Begala had a baby, it would be a Cruz supporter.

I believe those rules expired maybe 20 years ago.

But, hey, she’s holding up.

Poor Ann.

She and her little buddy, Matt Drudge, have figured out a way to regain some of their lost credibility.

Jump on the Trump train.

Dear Ann:

As a once and former fan of yours (christie was worrysome, trump takes the proverbial cake) I hope you can find the time to look at the similarities between Ross Perot and one Mister trump.

Billionaires, cared little for "homework", hated conservatives until pretending otherwise, best talent was destroying GOP candidates, ran to the right with platitudes that even they did not believe, formed an indy run in order to split the vote and hand the election to the Dems.

trump hasn't done the indy thing yet.

He will.

Back when Bush-the-elder was running for reelection, I tried with all that I had to convince my fellow conservatives that ross perot was a poser who wanted to do harm to Bush, and didn't care about our fine Country. After the election, they sheepishly agreed that I was right. (I did not want to be right.)

trump puts little effort into learning civics or international geopolitics or even being a statesman.

He will split the non-Dem vote, and hand the election to Hillary. (Sad to say.)

trump = perot = trump = perot.

.

I believe those rules expired maybe 20 years ago.

Only for Cruzers, but then we all know Cruzers do not play by the rules. Oh and FR has not been here for twenty years.

You brought back bad memories.

I totally remember Crazy Ross Perot.

OMG. I had friends who were enamored of him. Kinda reminds me of the Trump passion.

He totally handed the country over to Bill Clinton.

I remember going in Sears after the election and seeing a dude wearing a t-shirt that said, “Don’t blame me, I voted for Perot.”

I wanted to do something like hit him or scream, “I DO blame you, you idiot.”

Of course, I just walked on.

That was just an expression and I believe I am somewhat familiar with how long FR has been here since I joined the day that Jim Robinson did.

But thanks for adding the gratuitous insult about Cruzers, I would have been hurt if you’d left that off.

I think your comparison to Ross Perot is an interesting one...both self-centered billionaires, insulated from the real world.

Both self-worshipping.

I do believe that Trump might well throw away his country to gratify his ego.

Would not surprise me.

The similarities are more than astonishing.

Our good FRiends will take notice, I have confidence.

(Hopefully BEFORE the remaining primaries and the general election.)

First time I’ve seen it. Thanks Rockitz.

But I’ve been waiting for Ann to address Ted’s sexual misconduct. When she does she will, as she always does, provide cites.

Trump is nothing like Ross “I’m all ears!” Perot, but the parallels between Obama and Cruz are uncanny.
