Congratulations to Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for winning his fourth primary! Usually Donald Trump wins the primaries where you go and vote, like in a real election. Cruz wins the caucuses run by the state parties, favored by political operators and cheaters.
Until now, the only primaries Cruz has won are in Texas (his home state), Oklahoma (basically the same state) and Idaho (where Trump never campaigned).
So now, Cruz has finally won an honest-to-goodness primary. This is great news for him, provided: (1) the general election is a caucus, and (2) the national media universally denounce Cruzs Democratic opponent the same way the Wisconsin media denounced Trump.
In that case, Cruz should do fine.
The Cruz-bots dont care. They dont care that theyre being used as a cats-paw by the Never Trump crowd, and that a brokered Republican convention is more likely to end with Bernie as the nominee than Cruz.
The Cruz cultists dont even care about plain honesty, which I always thought was a conservative value. Republicans used to be appalled by guttersnipe, lying political operators like the Clintons. Now they are guttersnipe, lying political operators like the Clintons.
Its all hands on deck to stop the only presidential candidate who wants to save America from the cheap labor plutocrats.
Cruz has flipped to Trumps side on every important political issue of this campaign which only ARE issues because of Trump. These are:
...
These are all positions Cruz has changed since being a senator most of them hes flipped on only in the last year.

Ted Cruz actually won a primary!

Unfortunately, the Proud and Paternalistic care little about this rare opportunity.
I don’t like Kenyans as President of my country nor do I like Canadians.
Blame the search engine. I always search title.
sCruz (loose) and his merry flock of Igors...
Also it’s not on the top 20 in editorials. That’s a crime.
It works better if you search on a single word, like “moonies”.
Annie, Baby,
It's me, (from Tuesdays at the CHC)... and you are a good lawyer... and capable of much better arguments than this.
This would never make past Moot Court.
She sure liked Romney; good on the attack, but horrible in picking a candidate.
But boy she’s nailed the cruz-bots perfectly.
Romney, Christie, and Trump. Ann really has this thing for nominating turkeys for high political office.
Incidentally -- Unlike Ann -- Michelle Bachmann was my first choice; then, Newt Gingrich.
All you really need to know is that Cruz is a lawyer.
How have we done with lawyers as president? Clinton... Obama... not so good, right?
A major problem is that even a lawyer who comes with flawless conservative credentials is still a lawyer. The presidency, however, is an executive office. Thus, you need someone with executive experience to be a good president.
Trump has oodles of executive experience. His success in business is a product of his high intelligence. He’ll make a great president.
Plus, Trump has marvelous hair.
BTW, have you already "scoped out" your next guy to replace Trump, Miss Fickle?
CRUZ CONTROL SHOULD BE STANDARD ON GOP MODELS
Ann gives us all something to think about.
Name calling isn’t my game.
I wish all the best. I’ve given Cruz a lot of money and call myself a supporter, but when my chance to vote comes I am inclined to vote Trump and vote for Trump delegates here in PA to keep the Republican Establishment’s feet to the fire where they belong.
The corporatist elites already have Hillary in their back pocket and want control of the GOP candidate, too.
If Ted Cruz made a speech saying the ‘globalist plutocrats’ or ‘corporatist internationalists’ run the political parties and ‘I am not one of them’ I might change my mind.
Neither Trump nor Cruz is perfect, there’s plenty of room for improvement.
But I won’t trash either, just hope for the best and thoughtfully decide my participation in the political process.
