All you really need to know is that Cruz is a lawyer.
How have we done with lawyers as president? Clinton... Obama... not so good, right?
A major problem is that even a lawyer who comes with flawless conservative credentials is still a lawyer. The presidency, however, is an executive office. Thus, you need someone with executive experience to be a good president.
Trump has oodles of executive experience. His success in business is a product of his high intelligence. He’ll make a great president.
Plus, Trump has marvelous hair.
Indeed. Can you think of any honest "conservative" lawyers? Off the top of my head, I simply can't.
More truth than you know. There is a monopoly of American legal theory, and no one with ambition dares deviate far from current orthodoxy. Anyone with a law school education doesn’t have the vocabulary or even the thought processes to see ‘original intent’ as anything but history or quaint philosophy.
