Cruz Picks Up Big NY Endorsement as Momentum Continues
Conservative Review ^ | 4/6/16

Posted on 04/06/2016 4:03:02 PM PDT by justlittleoleme

New Yorkers for Constitutional Freedom PAC -- the state's evangelical political action committee -- has endorsed Ted Cruz for President ahead of the primary on April 19th.

Rev. Jason McGuire, NYCFPAC's executive director, stated in a press release:

“Republican voters in this year’s presidential primaries face an important question: Which candidate has the convictions, character, and political acumen to win the November election, clean up the wreckage of a failed presidential administration, and restore respect for the rule of law to an unaccountable federal government? NYCFPAC believes that the answer to this question is clear. Because of his outstanding conservative record in Washington, D.C., Sen. Ted Cruz is NYCFPAC’s choice for the Republican nomination.”
“Since taking office, Sen. Cruz has provided much-needed accountability to the Senate Majority, challenging its members to live up to their campaign promises by fighting back against Obamacare, against lawless immigration actions, and against other aspects of President Barack Obama’s ill-conceived and dangerous agenda. In so doing, Sen. Cruz has revealed himself to be the rare public servant who is unafraid to disrupt a deeply dysfunctional status quo and to back up strong words with effective, principled action.”

New York has been estimated as an easy win for Donald Trump, the New York City native and businessman has a commanding lead in the polls there. But after Cruz's big win in Wisconsin Tuesday night the race may trend a different direction.

Assuming that the baseless accusations are true.

That’s pretty pathetic, dforest.

The oranged faced-New Yorker, three times married, adulterer makes my skin crawl.

The booger chompin snake handler with the wife who belongs to the Bohemian Grove ladies auxiliary, does the same to me.

Everyone who does not support Trump is a “fake evangelical.” If you don’t fully support Trump, your religion is suspect. Those who don’t support Trump are hell-bound.

No, nothing to do with whether they support Trump. They were fake Evangelicals well before he came along. It’s a leftist organization and their values are not really Christian.

My grandfather spent his entire career @northropgrumman. Very cool to be heading there now with #Trump2016.

So when the Donald used religion, it was just for shits and giggles

Trump didn't portray himself as the 2nd coming of Christ like Rafael did.

He won’t win in NY, but if he can keep Kasich out of second place statewide, and then win some of the districts he could come away with 20-30 delegates and remain alive.

Very true, they tried to tell me that planet earth was only 6,000 years old.

God gave the American Indian better sense than that.

They’ve got players Weiner and Spitzer up there, but no player Cruz.
Must be because he’s not a New Yorker.

“Donald will take his home state of NY’s 95 delegates with a majority.”

Actually a majority nets 14 of the 95 delegates.

Three delegates are awarded for garnering a majority in each of the congressional districts for the other 81. If no one gets over 50% in a district, the winner gets two, second place one.

I’d make a comment about not knowing the rules, but it’d be piling on.

I think you are confusing Ted with his daddy, but that's ok because.......Cruz. Trump good, Trump never lie, never exaggerate, never denigrate opponents, only Cruz bad. I just pray that Trump isn't the new Arnold, because we have already seen the results of this kind of campaign in California, great sounding words and promises during the campaign, and all we got after was a plate full of manure.

I'm not one to say I will never vote for Trump or Cruz, I will vote for either one that is nominated, I will however have a real problem if it's not one of the two. I guess what prompted me to respond to your post is that I don't get why, if you all feel Trump is going to slam dunk the delegates, there is such a need to make such petty comments. Don't say "they started it", somebody has to hold to a higher standard. No I'm not guilt free either.
