[Donald] Trumps second-place finish to Sen. Ted Cruz (Tex.) in Tuesdays Wisconsin Republican primary may represent no ordinary setback, write the Washington Posts Karen Tumulty, Jose A. DelReal and Robert Costa. It appears to be a pivot pointalthough it has yet to be seen whether the trajectory from here points downward or upward.

The last time he faced the prospect of venturing into hostile territorywhen his rally in Chicago was overrun by left-wing disruptorshe ended up bugging out. If he fails to secure a majority of delegates, perhaps rather than endure defeat in Cleveland he will find a way to withdraw ungraciously before the convention.

(The sound you hear is of Trumpists heads exploding.)
TDS at it’s finest.
The Uniparty thinks that its Wisconsin Unipatsy ploy is going to work.
Nice try. :)
Let U.S. pray!
Dude, this story is so retarded that to even post it shows a level of absurd stupidity that I didn’t even think the Cruz Cucks Clan on FR could display.
So why didn’t Cruz “drop out” after losing the ENTIRE SOUTH. Coming in third in Florida, Virginia, Ohio, and losing Michigan, AND Illinois.
I. Call. For. Donald. Trump. To. End. This. Madness. And. Drop. Out. Immediately.
Wishful thinking by the anti-Trump crowd. No way he’s dropping out before the convention.
why would you even post such a stupid article.
Squish Squish Squish
The sound of TDSers still crapping themselves over the fact they havent taken out Trump yet
I’m a Cruz guy, but this is silly. Trump is about to win handily in NY (where the only q is whether he will get over 50%) and PA and currently leads Cruz in CA. Why would he drop out NOW?
This is as much a nothingburger as those Enquirer stories on Cruz that boiled down to “a lot of investigators are investigating him!” As if that isn’t true of all the major candidates.
This is an interesting idea - that Trump will drop out if it becomes apparent he won’t get to 1237 before Cleveland.
But it’s quite pre-mature for that now.
Next up is New York and the other Eastern liberal states where he should do very well.
If he does unexpectedly poorly in New York or these states, then maybe.
Good Lord, how the WSJ has fallen.
Yes.
He will drop out, run third-party, and dispatch your party to the ash heap of history.
Post of the day, IMO.
I’m a Cruz supporter, but playing fantasy games doesn’t help anything, except that the Establishment’s wishin’ and hopin’ encourages dithering on their part.
Cruz and Trump should both work towards the convention, getting as many delegates they need to lock out the bad guys . (I know that some Trumpers think that Cruz is a bad guy too, so for them I mean the OTHER bad guys).
Seriously, what kind of noxious gas do people inhale to think this way?
Forget the poster. What about the Wall Street Journal, who actually read it over.... THEN PUBLISHED IT.
