Veteran political strategist and informal adviser for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump Roger Stone warns on Breitbart News Daily that the loss in Wisconsin should be a wakeup call for the Trump campaign, which he says should invest in campaign infrastructure to sew up the partys nomination.
Its an early wakeup call, as it were, for the Trump campaign, Stone, who predicted earlier that Trump would lose Wisconsin, tells Stephen K. Bannon.
Trumps campaign has been fueled, from the beginning, with these hot button issues and an extraordinary communications-based strategy, where you utilize these huge rallies, the incredible media coverage they have generated, plus the high-profile debates, plus give Trump credit any interview he could do, as many interviews as he could do to reach as many voters he can reach. And that has worked. Up until now.
The campaign has no infrastructure in the states, he continued.
The woman who ran Wisconsin for Trump previously ran Oklahoma for Trump. Trump lost. Prior to that, she had never run any political campaign, so there was no depth of experience. This is something I see again and again, particularly at the ground roots level. Now, I salute these people for their enthusiasm, but this is a science. This is not something we guess about. And now you move to a serious of states like Colorado, Wyoming, and Arizona [which] should be watched very carefully. And those become hand-to-hand combat at state conventions or state committee meetings, where once again the Trump people have built no infrastructure.
Stone added that Trumps current predicament reminds him of Ronald Reagans failed 1976 run.

That would require Trump to stop being a cheapskate and laying off all of his campaign staffers in every state.
It isn’t bad to run a campaign without having to solicit billions from Super PACs and constantly hounding people for cash.
The fact that the Gope is tossing their back into getting their puppets to sop up delegates should tell you where the real problem is.
Isn’t this the guy we want in office?
Someone who is conservative with money?
Not a spend spend spend liberal like everyone else?
Excuse me.
Trump’s “infrastructure” is the courts and the swooning (for now... but just wait!) media.
Trump says, he’ll sue and when cornered, he’ll use foul language and make unbelievable promises.
Believe me.
How is Roger Stone in relation to the Trump campaign anyway?
Stone also said in that interview that Cruz absolutely will not be given the nomination. Goes on to say that Cruz is the most despised man in Washington inspite of him being establishment to the core.
Wait until after New York, they will say the same thing about Cruz. It’s business man, just business.
Whereas Cruz will just lie his way through the day.
Have you seen the video made by Cruz where he lies about his mom? It's so easy for Ted to lie that he even embarrasses his own mom.
No, the campaign is in a different phase.
While Trump has gotten away from the debates, and I agree with that, they did provide a lot of visibility. That no longer exists.
He needs to listen to good advice, and if the advice says to develop an infrastructure in states, then that’s just common sense.
With just 2 real candidates remaining, it is just as easy for Cruz to get air time as it is for Trump. Kasich really doesn’t excite anyone, nor does he have any pathway to victory that doesn’t include mayhem and theft, which aren’t very likely.

Isn’t this also the guy that keeps bragging that he is going to hire the best people. You have the blind leading the blind. This is a preview of how he will govern.
There is a difference between being conservative and being cheap.
A conservative looks at it and says spend the least amount of money to get the outcome you are looking for.
Cheap, is spending the least amount of money regardless of outcome.
Trump is EVERYTHING HE HAS ACCUSED OTHERS OF BEING. You know the list.
It is his to lose.
Donald Trump 752 delegates
Ted Cruz 469 delegates
Trump ahead by 283 delegates
Oh yeah, the establishment just loved that government shut down...
Stone is right. Trump needs to copy Cruz: better ground game and employ dirty tricks with delegates.
I’m a Trump supporter and agree that what has worked up until now might have to be changed going forward. He does need to shift gears but now that he is the only outside candidate that should help in the transition.
And what is Cruz’s?
Gope money.
Gope operatives.
Bush’s in key positions.
Trying to steal delegates in states he has lost.
Basking in a media under orders to go soft on him until he is no longer needed. As well as echoing leftist talking points.
It sure as hell isnt leaving it up to voters.
