An anti-abortion activist who made undercover videos at Planned Parenthood clinics said in a social media posting that California Department of Justice agents raided his home Tuesday.
Agents seized all video footage from his apartment, along with his personal information, David Daleiden said in a Facebook post. Daleiden, the founder of a group called the Center for Medical Progress, said agents left behind documents that he contends implicate Planned Parenthood in illegal behavior related to the handling of fetal tissue.

If you are going to fight the powers that be:
Regularly backup all of your computers to a 3rd party, off site, backup service.
Keep enough credit or cash available to restore your computing environment.
Scan all of your important documents such as contracts, vendor details, etc and record those scanned documents on a read only DVD and have your lawyer keep that copy of the DVD.
Use whole disk encryption utilities and where possible, encrypt your backups as well.
Develop, review and TEST a recovery plan. This should include critical infrastructure such as phones, faxes, servers, etc. Assume that the authorities will take everything that is not structurally part of the building.

I.e., the STYLEBOOKS take the position that there IS a “right” to abortion.
I might be naive, but I would hope that people who do this kind of investigatory work would be savvy enough to think of all that. I’m not savvy enough to do what they do, but I’m cynical enough to know that the government has access to everything I do online, to everything in my home should they choose, and if I have a case to make, I need to have the evidence in at least triplicate and stashed elsewhere.
I also keep very little money in the bank. I deposit as I need to pay. Being just a housewife, it’s been easy for decades. When my husband precedes me (under existing circumstances, almost 100% likely), I’ll need a different plan. We’re working on that.

You know, the people who are supposed to be protecting your money. The people who SHOULD know to do all of this at a business level. Everyone at the banks and financial institutions knows that they need to do it .... but they never get around to doing it until an auditor or government regulator forces them to do so.
I suppose it’s one thing for me to be bothered to protect my own little piece of this earth, and another to expect paid employees to bother to go to more trouble to protect the stash of other people. That’s my operating principle, anyway. Nobody cares more than me about me (except my husband).

Yes, there’s no overcoming a government arraigned with the leftist forces in society. That only happened during transition, when the leftist forces took the side of those fighting the government (the transition is complete, and it’s not all leftists in government, it’s also those who just didn’t care, and had no ideology other than their own ambition, which seems to have turned out to have been those supposedly allied with the right). So I just keep my head down as much as possible.
