Wednesday, April 6, 2016, beginning at 7:00 PM EDT, GOP Presidential candidate Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally in Bethpage, NY at Grumman Studios. With two weeks to go until the New York primary on April 19, this will be Mr. Trumps first campaign event in his home state of New York.
Bethpage is a hamlet located on Long Island within the Town of Oyster Bay in Nassau County, New York, United States, as well as a census-designated place with borders slightly different from those of the hamlet. Population: 16,429.

Started out...that it was the Dems who wanted to do away with any form of ID or system to guarantee one vote/person. Looks like the Lying GOPee has joined right in....to promote/maintain a corrupt system.
These electronic machines may have a few legitimate advantages, but the few advantages cannot outweigh the repeated glitches found in just about EVERY brand/location of these machines ~ not to mention the capability of manipulation.
Heck....we’ve complained about these things, for years, here. How they’re Soros owned, etc.
Cruz, at a rally in Scotia, NY, just rattled off his top endorsements... and they were - not - very - inspiring.
Rick Perry
Carly Fiorina
Lyndsey Graham
Scott Walker
Jeb Bush
and then added Mike Lee and Mark Levin.
Crowd estimate of a thousand at a Christian Academy. The audience was polite, cheering and applauding as expected and at opportune times. In comparison to a Trump rally- the crowd was quite tepid. It was painful to watch. I believe Cruz is going through the motions at this point and cannot hide the fact that he is going through the motions at this point, and- came across as being (himself) uninspired by this self realization.
He knows how poorly he is going to do in the next five contests, and that the writing is on the wall, especially faced with the cold hard fact that he is going to be mathematically eliminated in the very next election.
Couple that with the fact that Trump is a force unto himself. It’s the equivalent of a major in the military, with 8 years of service, going up against a four star general with 29 years experience.
Lastly, if the hanky panky allegations are true, Cruz is doomed. It would take a lot of energy away from a person to mask such behavior, especially when such a person is in a public position like a leading presidential candidate would be, and for that person then, to continue acting as if it were not true. Lots and lots of energy required to keep up the façade.
Freepersup don’t get to confident Mr. Trump has incoming from ALL sides, I don’t trust the voting machines, I don’t like the fact that Trump is off the trail even if it is his home state, the general public has the memory of a knat, he NEEDS TO BE PUMPING UP THE VOTERS continuously!!! I don’t know what the GOPe has up their sleeve and I am VERY worried about him getting the 50% he NEEDS in NY!!!!
You nailed it. Trump has humor we haven’t seen in years. I have been a Trump fan for several months and wondered why he really took my heart. I finally figured out that he is much like my late father. My father was always called on to do the speeches for retirement parties. He nicknamed many of the people he knew. Not bad names just visual names that really went with their personalities. He also had his favorite poem he had to read at every party. It was the main reason he was so popular. I want to share the poem with you, this has just kicked in a few days ago that Trump also reads a poem about “The Snake”.
Petey was a snake, only so big. Petey lived in a pit with his mother. One day Petey was hissing in the pit when his mother said, “Petey, don’t hiss in the pit, go outside to hiss.”
So Petey went outside of the pit to hiss. Petey was hissing all around when he finally leaned over and hissed in the pit.
Petey’s mother heard Petey hissing in the pit and said, “Petey, if you must hiss in a pit, go over to Mrs. Pott’s pit and hiss in her pit.”
Petey went over to Mrs. Pott’s pit to hiss in her pit, but Mrs. Pott’s was not home so he hissed in her pit anyway. While Petey was hissing in Mrs. Pott’s pit, Mrs. Pott came home and found Petey hissing in her pit.
She said, “Petey, if you must hiss in a pit, don’t hiss in my pit: go to your own pit and hiss.”
This made Petey very sad, and he cried all the way home. When Petry got home, his mother saw him crying and said, “Petey, what’s the matter?”
Petey said, “I went over to Mrs. Pott’s to hiss in her pit but Mrs. Pott’s was not home, so I hissed in her pit anyway. Mrs. Pott’s came home and found me hissing in her pit and said, “Petey, if you must hiss in a pit go to your own pit and hiss, don’t hiss in my pit.”
This made Petey’s mother very angry and she said, “Why that mean old Lady! I knew Mrs. Pott’s when she didn’t have a pit to hiss in!”

I don't think we are talking about the same people. I do not know the freeper you are talking about.
I had my own heartbreak on FR, it was nw_arizona_granny. We talked on the phone, emailed and shared our love for our country. She was a very wise Lady, I learned much from her.
My mom got sick and granny helped me make a decision to go to Atlanta to care for her, and it was the right thing for me to do. I did not get to talk to granny before she passed.
I think about her all the time and ask what would granny think?
I have a lot of problems outside of FR, I don't bring them here. I understand what you are saying and mostly scroll by, I suddenly don't feel welcome on this thread!
It's not surprising, then, they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.
“The audience was polite, cheering and applauding as expected and at opportune times.”
I haven’t watched Cruz in a while, but seeing a few clips here and there and what I recall from watching him, he seems to pause when he thinks there should be applause or a laugh (and chuckles himself if he thinks he makes a funny).
Whereas, Trump gets a lot of cheers and applause and I remember him saying early on that someone told him (possibly Ivanka) that he needed to stop when there was applause as he just kept talking and talked over the applause.
I went over to the Cruz thread a little while ago and at that time there were 66 posts - some from Trump supporters.
NW.arizona_granny was awesome... sad..
everyone has challenges. Some feel more comfortable sharing. some do not. Neither position is wrong. It i personal. Hugs hon.. You and God can handle it
I agree KC!
I’m also concerned about CA - Trump is only up by 7 over Cruz (39/32) in the last poll. This is of likely Republican voters.

BTW - have you seen this thread? The Trump Effect again - Pubbie Senators talking to the head of NATO complaining that not very many countries are contributing their fair share, including Germany:

On this thread?
I hope you DO feel comfortable, right here with Trump Family.....always a listening ear and a ((hug)) to share :)
There are ALOT of indie voter change registrations to pubbie in CA. I am VERY happy it is a closed primary don’t want immigrants voting Cruz just because of the name Cruz!!!!
Of course they won’t support him just jump on his issue train!!! Just despicable !!!!
Oh goodness, so do I. I don’t mention them too much, well I do a little.
Please never feel unwelcome.
DAVEY don’t you EVER NOT feel comfortable with the folks on this thread, if you need to freep mail them, they will always chat privately!!!! ALWAYS will answer and help in ANY way they can!!!
Thank yall so much, Trump on and forward to the White House!
Trump doesn’t give up. He is still fighting against incredible odds.
Go Trump!
Hi guys,
I’ve kind of jumped a few hundred posts today so just wondering if there’s been any news about the postcard campaign. I know the media will be reluctant to report on it, but just curious how it’s going.
Thank you so much re; the nice compliments about my home page. (I had to laugh; one freeper said ‘Gawd, you must love Texas. lol :) ) I DO, and I too see no need to travel outside. We’ve everything we need right here.
It was my intention to show through photos and history that Texas is nothing like most people believe it to be.
