I've only recently become a Trump supporter. I was leaning toward Cruz, but couldn't go with him when he decided to collude with the GOPe, fully knowing (I have to imagine) that there wasn't a snowball's chance in Hell they would pick him in a contested convention. It's obvious that the GOP has decided to self destruct. Their disregard for conservatives and their complete disdain for the middle and working class has turned my stomach.
I've turned in my membership. I'm finished for good with the Republican Party. I've decided to go Independant from this point forward, and I've gotten to,wondering...
...how many folks here have moved out too?

That is why the all, without exception, hate Trump which of course includes millions of Americans who support his views. The msm, the “conservative” media for the most part, the talk show spokesholes, the Dems, the Repukes. They all hate him.

I switched to unaffiliated a week after our primary last month, after over 40 yrs as a registered republican.
Only a fool believes sCruz is really a conservative, just look who supports him, that’s a clue.

Many in GOP have no problem with Hillary as President. They will ride it out and keep their committees.
I think he has to run Repub due to rules. It would have to be a write-in if say, Paul Ryan is installed at a convention. That will be a cluster but I think there is a distinct possibility of it happening. This will NOT be a Romney-suck-it-up election. Oh no. THAT won’t happen this time.

Yes, actually, I think it ends exactly the same.
I have a pretty good friend/neighbor who is the quietest billionaire you have ever met. Keeps his name off those lists. He always tells me to ignore politicians. No matter how much they think they will go to Washington to do “good”, once they get there, every action is about being able to stay there.
These days, to get to keep your seat in DC the politicians have to do what the donors want as they need the donors, as they do not have their own wealth to fund their own campaigns.
I used to just consider him cynical; now I can see, he is right.

Cruz, Kasich, Sanders, Clinton and other current and former members of the gang of 535 should be in federal prison.
