NC Lt. Governor Dan Forest has issued a response to PayPals decision to not expand in Charlotte over HB2.
The expansion would have created 400 new jobs.
Corporations have expressed disappointment over the law and the NCAA vowed to monitor what North Carolina does next now that the state has banned any local government measures protecting people from discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.
If our action in keeping men out of womens bathrooms and showers protected the life of just one child or one woman from being molested or assaulted, then it was worth it. North Carolina will never put a price tag on the value of our children. They are precious and priceless. If a corporation wanting to do business in North Carolina does not see the worth of our children in the same light, then I wish them well as they do business somewhere else, said Forest.
Good!
The Governor and legislature should act so that no entity of the state or entity receiving state funds may not do business with any corporation or other entity that acts against the state due to this or any other law.
Let Pay pal boycott it is their right but it is also my right to boycott Paypal.
W have enough laws to protect people and they don’t need special rights.
God bless NC Lt. Governor Dan Forest.
Oh that Nathan Deal had his cojones.
Holy smokes.
What an impressive statement. The guy really has a spine. It’s funny, because I’d just grown so accustomed to GOP leaders immediately cowering and caving to every bit of pressure, that it becomes almost something of a shock when someone actually has the moxie to stand up to it.
It’s almost like a pleasant ‘flashback’ to the America that used to be, when we were a nation that didn’t constantly surrender to perversion and depravity. And it indeed takes a spine to buck the trend of abject evil that our government, our culture, and our corporate classes are all doing their best to implement onto our society.
Great reply! These business are so upset at not allowing a man in a woman’s bathroom that they won’t do business in the state is the very reason people are getting fed up with this politically correct garbage. I feel like the next civil war will be fought for bathroom rights...haha.
Run him for President or VP
400 jobs? LOL. Big freakin deal....NOT
the states down here should ban states up north which doe snot have decent gun laws, should ban states which impose homosexuals and cross dressers using the opposite sex locker rooms and bathroom.
Two can play this game and see how they like it while informing their voters by running AD;’s how their Gov wants to let men use womens lockers rooms, womens bathrooms
I have never used and will never use “GayPal” ... just a bunch of skimmers.
I just checked his tours and in the 3 years since that article he’s toured in over a dozen States with stand your ground
Dan Forest is a real man. Wish we had more like him.
it was an expansion....... now the state should get rid of the rest of the operation
New York is calling....Ithica

400 jobs in a state with over 8 million people. Dont let the door hit ya pay pal.
400 jobs in a state with over 8 million people. Dont let the door hit ya pay pal.
IT Seems to me that those businesses forcing the state to change are committing blackmail if you think about it - do what we say or else...
