I read the other day, in the 2012 primaries, Santorum decided to drop out after he needed a very difficult 75% of the remaining delegates to win the nomination.
Well, Cruz needs something like 80%+ of the remaining delegates in order to win the nomination outright. An even more difficult task than Santorum. THE ONLY TRUE REASON for Ted Cruz to stay in at this point is to muddy up the convention FOR the GOP establishment. When are people going to wake up to see the snake and fraud that Ted Cruz turned out to be.

Senator Cruz authored the brief which the majority of the states stood behind.
He had a crucial roll on the Heller case. Had we lost it, our gun rights would have been altered forever.
It was a team effort for sure, but now Senator Cruz had a critical roll in the fight.
They don’t care. They want the Trump “defeat”. They want to gush on talk radio with El Rushbo. Then they want to go back to how everything is and bitch for the next 4-8 years about how our country is going down the tubes.

With fraud like in Wisconsin where the machines would not accept Trump votes.

The purported Trump statement seemed phony to me, but who knows. If it is phony, FOX will have egg on its face, because they read it verbatim in prime time.
Well, it's true, it's a very difficult task for Cruz to get to the nomination outright. At least Santorum had the decency to realize that. The only reason for Cruz to be in this is to try to get this to a contested convention and help the GOP establishment.
Oh and on top of that so many unholy factions (dem party, GOPe, the Media, etc. ) is coming together to try to stop Trump. Many of you Cruz supporters have gone from fans to fanatics because you don't want to see these unholy alliances come together because they HELP your candidate. How in the world is that principled conservatism?
But continue to NUANCE Ted Cruz chances, that's what liberals do, trust me, I've had much experience dealing with liberals online and that's what they do.

In the real world, using the real rules, one needs to win a majority of the delegates, whether it be in the primaries or not until the convention.
That is when the race is over.
And it's been that way for many years.

Personally, of all the GOP candidates, I would rather have Jim Gilmore as President. But getting Gilmore elected is an entirely different matter.
