On the eve of the Wisconsin primaries, top Republicans are becoming increasingly vocal about their long-held belief that Speaker Paul Ryan will wind up as the nominee, perhaps on the fourth ballot at a chaotic Cleveland convention.
One of the nations best-wired Republicans, with an enviable prediction record for this cycle, sees a 60 percent chance of a convention deadlock and a 90 percent chance that delegates turn to Ryan ergo, a 54 percent chance that Ryan, wholl start the third week of July as chairman of the Republican National Convention, will end it as the nominee.

And that means he’ll push anything except the liberal cause?? how
If they also believe Ryan stands a snowball’s chance in heck of winning the Presidency as the Republican nominee, then they should also believe the following:
1. Sasquatch is alive and well in the forests of the Pacific Northwest
2. The world is flat
3. The invention of the perpetual motion machine just requires some good, old-fashioned American ingenuity
4. The Sun orbits the Earth
5. Drinking vinegar is an effective method of contraception.

Each source is simply repeating each other.
Remember how “everyone” was s sure Michelle was going to run for the Senate from Illinois?
It’s a non-starter.
So the bottom line is they want whomever the Democratic Party has running to win. Republicans just will not vote.
why the hell should he? He is leading, Cruz is NOT.
Ryan will lose and they will lose the house and senate, too.
Yes, singing “We don’t need another wimp”.
God, are there any real men in the GOP or are they all political eunuchs like Jeb, Paul, Mitt, and Reince P.?
More reason why Trump must quit now and pledge his delegates to Cruz!
Ryan is a good choice for the role of Designated Loser. Hes been there before and hell do it with style.

He is such a poser!
Cruz has been underestimated repeatedly, including in Iowa this year. An expert saying he has a 40% chance of succeeding at the convention means that in reality he probably has only a 30% chance of failing.
He will announce a smart V.P. choice, probably Carly, that will win over many moderate delegates.
If Trump truly has a strong delegation on his side, then he and Cruz will unite on one ticket if they have to to defeat RINO lyin’ Ryan.
[Top Republicans believe Paul Ryan will be nominee]
Welcome, President Hillary. You look lovely in orange.
Was the victory party with the GOP Establishment fun?
[Did I miss anything? :-)]
We’re in an unprecedented economic recovery thanks to the genius of Bammy.
These silly bastards really do want to destroy the gop. I’m happy to help oblige.
And there will be much Weeping and Wailing and Gnashing of teeth!
Up to now I’ve been looking at a Trump nomination as the first prize. Perhaps the destruction of the gop is the first prize?
The first thing Ryan will do is sign into law four more years of 0bama budget extensions for $1.2 trillion each year.
It’s also the first thing he did in his new House position.
Let the Beta male pretend he’s Alpha!
Cruz isn’t dumb. He understands. However, I am not a Trump fan, but I could never come to terms with this if it does happen. Quite simply, the nomination will not be worth having if this happens.
It doesn’t really matter what Cruz’ negative vote amount is. Trump is also underwater and that is a problem for him. Trump can fix it if he can get 50% of the vote somewhere, anywhere. But he can’t. He has never gotten the majority of the vote anywhere.
It’s Trump’s job to get to 50%. It is not Cruz’ job to help him. If Trump is so beloved, why is he not getting 50%.
