Reince Priebus Attacks Trump....Silent On Cruz & Kasich (Vanity)

Posted on 04/04/2016 4:42:37 AM PDT by JLAGRAYFOX

Yesterday, on national TV, Reince Priebus the RNC Chairman openly attacked Donald J. Trump on his failure to stand by Trump's "Party Loyalty" oath to commit to supporting the GOP POTUS nominee. But, Priebus failed to mention that both Ted Cruz & John Kasich have openly backed away from exactly the same pledge weeks before Trump joined them. IMHO....Priebus should be forced to resign for his direct of unfairness towards a fellow Republican candidate....that being Donald J. Trump, and openly giving a pass to both Ted Cruz & John Kasich.

IMHO.....Reince Priebus is just another loyal, active member of the GOP Establishment...right along with Cruz, Kasich, Romney, McCain, Graham, Fiorina, Bush, Walker, Beck, etc. Wisconsin voters beware of whom you cast your vote for. Ted Cruz will never get the GOP POTUS nomination....it will go to a loyal clone of the GOP Establishment at the end of the day!!! A vote cast for Ted Cruz is a wasted vote...because Cruz is going nowhere with the GOP (E) at his back....they hate him...at the end of the day!!! The GOP (E) end game is as clear as the nose on your face,

Support & vote for Donald J. Trump!!! GO DONALD J. TRUMP!!!

Kasich needs no comment......brainwise,...the poor gent is totally adrift at sea without a paddle!!!

However we may feel about this gent (and he abolutely makes my skin crawl) he would be a vast improvement over HRC, politically and morally...

and if Ted Cruz can cite one Fox News poll showing him beating Clinton as proof, then Kasich has even more ammo, because every poll shows him winning...but polls, as we know, are fickle beasts...

Link to Paul Ryan’s workout photos. Amazingly, he looks even more awkward than Obama in his workout pics:

Here's what I found, and it shows quite clearly that your headline, and your remarks are inconsistent with what was said:

Just days after GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump met with Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairman Reince Priebus behind closed doors, rhetoric was harsh Sunday as Trump again raised the possibility of a third-party run and Priebus warned that candidates need to watch what they say. Trump, on “Fox News Sunday,” said he wouldn’t rule out a run as a third-party candidate if he doesn’t get the GOP nomination. “It’s not a question of win or lose; it’s a question of treatment,” Trump said. “I’m by far the front-runner. I want to run as a Republican. … [But] I’m going to have to see how I was treated.” Following the hourlong meeting Thursday between Priebus and Trump, the front-runner tweeted that it was a “nice meeting” and said he was excited to unite the party. “Looking forward to bringing the Party together --- and it will happen,” he wrote. RNC spokeswoman Lindsay Walters said in a statement after the meeting that Trump and the chairman had a “productive conversation about the state of the race.” She also said Priebus has been communicating with all of the candidates and their campaigns. The meeting came just days after Trump backed out of a pledge to support whoever the Republican nominee is. Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Gov. John Kasich (Ohio) also walked back from that pledge in the past week. On Sunday, Priebus said he’s confident that all of the candidates will support the eventual nominee — whoever that is. “I really do believe this is posturing, and I know posturing can have an effect,” Priebus said during an interview on "Fox News Sunday" with Chris Wallace. “I personally think these folks are posturing, and I think they will be loyal to the party and want to be loyal to the party.” Priebus also warned Sunday that Trump’s talk about an independent bid could make it more difficult for him to secure the nomination. "Those kinds of comments, I think, have consequences," Priebus said on ABC's "This Week." "And so, when you make those kinds of comments, and you want people to fall in line for you, it makes it more difficult." He compared the presidential race to wanting to head any group, saying if you’re running for president of the Kiwanis Club or the Boy Scouts and you say “you don’t know if you like the Kiwanis or the Boy Scouts,” then that makes your “challenge even greater.” “It’s not different for the Republican Party,” he said Sunday. But Trump didn’t seem to budge with his statements, saying he’s concerned that if he doesn’t secure the nomination ahead of the convention, the Republican Party might try to “steal” it from him. “Nothing can get stolen from anyone," Priebus said in answer to that accusation. “We have rules in place that if someone — if a candidate gets to 1,237 delegates, those delegates are bound. They will vote that way on the floor, and if they don’t vote that way on the floor, which they will, but if they don’t, the secretary will read the vote as if they were bound regardless." He said it won’t be a mystery who has the majority of delegates heading into the Republican National Convention in July. Priebus cautioned the candidates to be careful of what they say. "Candidates have to watch their mouth; they have to watch their tone and their tenor," he said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union." "The only way you can be the party of the open door is if you keep that in mind." The RNC chairman said it’s his job to make sure all of the candidates are putting their best foot forward, and he said he’s communicated that message to all of the Republicans running. He added that no one knows who the nominee is going to be but said it’s “our job to be fair.” And even as Trump maintains his lead in the delegate count, Priebus said he doesn’t know if Trump is the strongest candidate. “Listen, I don't worry about who is the strongest candidate,” Priebus said on NBC’s “Meet the Press.” “Obviously, we have our own conversations here. But the fact is is that we're here, prepared to support whoever the eventual nominee is, with the biggest, best Republican National Committee that we've ever put together.”

In early 2015 I was a Cruz supported but I wound up switching to Trump because I firmly believe he is the only one who can beat Clinton. I have become more satisfied with my choice recently by the actions of Ted Cruz. Cruz has obviously decided he is more important than the country and is now in bed with he crooked GOPe. I will never switch back to Cruz or to any other RINO. If they steal an election from the will of the voters I hope Trump goes third party. Even if not I will write in a vote for him. Stealing the nomination from Trump will be the end of the GOP and possibly this country.

Between this and Cruz stealing delegates I don’t see myself voting Republican if Trump is betrayed.
Yes, Cruz has proved to me he is a bastard cloaking himself as a Christian during this election.

Exactly, I agree.

Thank Cruz and the GOPe for electing Hillary. Ted doesn’t care, he is just a proxy for Goldman Sachs and the country along with the people can drop dead as far as Cruz is concerned.

Ted Cruz treats Republican voters like the enemy.

Trump would wind up with 5 million more write in votes than the Republican Candidate. I don’t care who they force on us.

“There is only one real candidate now. Cruz and Kasich are both no longer viable. That leaves Trump alone”
I disagree. Trump is the only candidate with a realistic chance of getting the nomination on the first ballot, but he is also much less likely to be the nominee if he fails to get the nomination on that first ballot. I think a lot of the delegates pledged to him will vote for someone else as soon as they can.

“A power play to destroy trump is suicidal”
Only if you assume that those people’s goal is having a republican President. If you assume that they are out for their own best interests then their actions might be completely logical.

The incumbent Republicans should be railing against what is happening to Trump. Those down ticket will suffer the consequences. I’ll never vote Republican again if they rig this nomination!

The Republican Party is going down in flames and will never be allowed to rise in its current form again.

Cruz is also Obama 2 like Hillary or Biden.
Congratulations to Goldman Sachs.

Jedi, Priebus had nothing to do with that. The TEA Party gave the Senate and the House their majorities. He was not a factor.

Cruz and Kasich are not as likely to run as third party candidates if they fail to get the nomination. I think that’s what the Republican establishment is reacting to.

Maybe the GoPe is now the third party.

You are right on the money.....Reince Priebus got not one GOP Conservative elected...not one!!! Every backer of Ted Cruz is a GOP Establishment cronie....and to boot they are all losers (Romney, McCain, Graham, Bush, Perry, Beck, Fiorina, etc.....across the board. The have cheated, deceived us and kissed the butt of Obama at every turn. How the good, solid people of Wisconsin can even think of voting for Ted Cruz with those GOP (E) low life turncoats backing him, is very hard to understand. Can they be that foolish?

Back, support, defend & vote for DONALD J. TRUMP for POTUS on this coming Tuesday in the Wisconsin Primary!!!
