If Donald Trump secures the Republican presidential nomination, he would start the general election campaign as the least-popular candidate to represent either party in modern times.
Three-quarters of women view him unfavorably. So do nearly two-thirds of independents, 80 percent of young adults, 85 percent of Hispanics and nearly half of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents.
Those findings, tallied from Washington Post-ABC News polling, fuel Trumps overall 67 percent unfavorable rating making Trump more disliked than any major-party nominee in the 32 years the survey has been tracking candidates.

Ted Cruz is more popular when you sample everyone, not just Republican primary voters. Even among Republican primary voters, not-Trump is far more popular than Trump, but split its vote.
The willingness of FReepers to ignore polls is very odd. Absent a few outliers, polls are very accurate. They are telling us as scientifically as possible that Trump would lose in a landslide to Hillary if the vote were today. That doesn’t mean that result is guaranteed for November, but it means that it will be the result absent a recipe for Trump to become more popular among people who right now seem to have a very dim view of him.
thanks you as it needs ot be said more and more after these lies by the establishment saying how cruz is the better option.
All of it courtesy of the GOPe in the Chamber of Commerce.
Whyh wouild you say such things about Ted Cruz?
He's not THAT bad... LOL! :)
Donald Trump is broadly unpopular with national adults, more so than any other major candidate of either party. Over the past week (Feb. 26-March 3), Trump was seen favorably by 30% of the country, while twice as many U.S. adults saw the GOP front-runner unfavorably (63%).
Oh, I believe The Trump is popular enough. Here we have another article that bounces off reality to land in the largest pile of fake articles written in modern history.
Hey, Ted won Idaho & Utah.
With his landslide victory in those two states in November, he could form his own Lichtenstein-like country: Cruzutahidaho.
And there's a "ho" in that country, too! :)
All those arena filled rallies were fake then?
But ,but, there some differences in style and delivery.
I haven’t seen this much self delusion among otherwise intelligent conservatives since the Christine O’Donnell fiasco back in 2010. A chapter of political history that many of us (for good reasons) would like to forget. There are just way too many people on here who seem to be floating down a river called de-nial.
If Trump is the nominee we are going to get buried in a once in a generation electoral shellacking.
If the election were held today, who would be your first choice for President of the United States?Who would be your first choice for Donald Trump's running mate? |
Pray to your Cruz god.
Feel good to agree with WaPo? LOL.
Leave it to liberals to project what they fear the most. It is what they do.
Yet another garbage poll by the Washington compost.
I see your point.
You, above all, surprise me in your support for Trump, a guy who has hopped in bed with the person we, unlike most here, know and understand to be a serious threat to the US and its allies in the years to come. That is of course, KGB/FSB Putin. And please don’t say it’s only that he respects him as a strong leader, because it’s much more than that. He is in cahoots with Putin in his mission to restore Russia to a major competing superpower. At best, he’s dangerously/foolishly naive. At worst, an agent of sorts for the Russians.
You are as stupid as you are ignorant.
