Nick, what kind of conservative says the Executive branch shouldn’t enforce laws?

His first statement did just that, and his second statement stated his personal opinion. We’re against free speech now?

I have no idea what the heck is wrong with FR these days.

You’re avoiding the question - what punishment should a woman receive for knowingly aborting her baby?

It’s a tough question, but a very important one. If abortion were to be made illegal what would you do to the woman who committed it?

This is something that is never addressed by the anti-abortion side. Now that Trump has been asked, look for every conservative candidate at all levels to be asked the same question - and they better be well prepared or they will be skewered.

Trump should shut this all down. He should just come out and announce he holds all positions on all issues.

Regardless of whether the story is true or false, the question is extremely relevant.

And you’re avoiding the question - what punishment should a woman receive for knowingly aborting her baby? (By the way many sins are not against the law, what we’re talking about is the law, and consequences for breaking a law)

You seem to imply no punishment, is that correct? Or are you saying that God will take care of that, in which case then you don’t need to make any changes from the way things are now.

#539 but what about the two other versions between those two?

Oh I know. Its Donnie tranforming his positions as an example of how he became a democrat, then Republican, Then independent, now finally this week a Republican. Unless he gets asked what are the three most important roles of the federal government.

Then he becomes a Democrat.... but only on that issue.

Yeah that’s it!

I hear you. We'll never make progress in the fight for the life of the preborn if the concept scares people. That's mostly because they don't want to accept the fact that abortion is murder, just in case they or a loved one deciedes to get one someday.

So do what you have to do to advance the pro-life movement. But realize how much it is that we're not even fighting for any more.

FWIW, I have always, and always will, regard abortion as murder. But I won't let anyone know how crazy some of us pro-lifers are.

Jesus went unto the mount of Olives. And early in the morning he came again into the temple, and all the people came unto him; and he sat down, and taught them.

And the scribes and Pharisees brought unto him a woman taken in adultery; and when they had set her in the midst, They say unto him, Master, this woman was taken in adultery, in the very act. Now Moses in the law commanded us, that such should be stoned: but what sayest thou? This they said, tempting him, that they might have to accuse him.

But Jesus stooped down, and with his finger wrote on the ground, as though he heard them not. So when they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said unto them, He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.

And a rock came whizzing through the air from the midst of the crowd, and clonked the girl square on the nose.

"Mommmmmm! Cut that out!"

I can get away with that joke, because I'm Catholic.

The difference is, committing adultery is not the same as an abortion, tho' one often leads to the other.

In fact, the current demand for abortion, is because our culture has accepted two lies:

1) Fornication is 'fun' and not sin, and it's about time the women had the same right to it as men have always had.

2) If anything goes wrong in any way, or there are any unpleasant aftereffects whatsoever from the sex, it's always the man's fault, because Women Are Naturally Sinless.TM

Most men put up with this, because they have been taught that supplicating to women is the only way they're ever going to land a woman.

It’s all campaign season hot air from Trump.

OTOH, Ted “Principled Conservative” Cruz standing with Barack Obama in the U. S. Senate on TPA has the potential to do lasting damage to this country. You keep good company, FRiend.

> Let the truth be said-— we need not be afraid of the truth anymore..

But unlike the case with muslim refugee immigration, he didn't.

Any comitted pro-life conservative would emphasize the unconstitutionality of Rowe v Wade, the fanatical support of partial birth abortion by the Dems, and how abortion is the ultimate crime against humanity.

But instead Trump's gratuitous embellishment emphasizes the woman having an abortion instead of the child who is murdered.

Don’t blame me I didn’t offshore any jobs like Donnie did.(Garments made in china and mexico) nor have I shipped in cheap foreign labor to take jobs American citizens line up for and also take use our social structure(roads public facilities etc) that we all paid for.

So you sit there and whine about the TPA.

You Cruzers were attacking him as not being pro-life enough, and now he’s TOO pro-life. Do I personally advocate punishing women? No, but if abortion is ILLEGAL because the unborn child is a person, then I can see where logically you could make the case that a woman who knowingly kills a person illegally can be punished. I wish he hadn’t of said it because the libs would use it to portray him as anti-woman, but it’s a shame that Cruz people, who claim to like Cruz in part because he’s more conservative on abortion, are attacking him.

It’s hardly whining to state the simple fact that Ted Cruz enabled the most lawless POTUS in history. Nothing principled or conservative about that.
