Walker knows Cruz has no prayer in hell of being nominated. It’s all part of the GOPe plan to get rid of Trump by getting enough out of Cruz before dumping him to the curb. Frankly, if a brokered convention occurs Walker is on the ticket as VP or even for president.
My observation is that the governors by and large tend to stick by each other, especially the ones currently in office.

Because you are hurt about Cruz (even with Walker’s too late help) falling by the wayside, is no reason to go back years to ankle bite Palin so it could ‘hurt’ your opponent in an argument. It is irrelevant.

What I keep wondering is what magical way Trumpsters see any path for a general election victory for their guy. The man is as popular with a general election audience as colon cancer, and his disapproval with women is upwards of 70% - which includes a lot of white women too.
Trump simply has no plausible path to victory. He has alienated just about every general election voting demographic you can find, and a large chunk of his own party won't even vote for him.
It's all well and good to try to insult, bully, belittle, lie about, etc, your opponents with a GOP primary where about 38% seem to find that appealing and are caught up in his cult of personality, but with a general election audience Trump is pure poison.
