The National Enquirer published a story last Wednesday that speculated about five women with whom the Republican presidential candidate was rumored to have had extramarital affairs.
Cruz has batted down the specifics of the story on numerous occasions since it appeared in supermarket checkout lanes.
But instead of making a blanket declaration that he has been faithful during the entirety of his 14-year marriage – a move that would effectively end the vicious news cycle – Cruz stood silently as campaign surrogate Carly Fiorina leapt in to intercept the question and change the subject.

All cruz has ot do is to state I did ot have an affair, or I have never cheated on my wife.
Instead it is the same of blaming Trump or the NE is garbage.
If so then sue them or announce you have not cheated on your wife with anyone.

Yep, that’s it for candidate Cruz....he’s finished at this point.
There we were a year ago, with sixteen potential possibilities....and now? I can’t think of anyone that I feel any confidence with anymore....Trump by default?
I don't know what has gone on between Cruz and his wife, nor do I care. If there was a time when either or both of them strayed, that's between them. And airing that kind of incredibly personal information may well just be ripping the scab off a wound that they've both moved past.
This isn't Bill banging an intern in the oval office, or sexually harassing unwilling women. This is just character assassination at this point.
Fiorina either 1) was in a threesome with Cruz and his rat,
OR 2) is sleeping with him now,
OR 3) feels guilty about the $500,000 bribe/payoff
which may be 2 to 3 times that amount by now.
It's the least she could do for a half million bucks.

When you run as the face of God and a moral religious crusader, then this stuff is fair game. Ted can’t have it both ways.
So dumb for Carly to do that - them accuse Trump of being a “serial philanderer”. Carly dated her second husband while still married to the first. That is not thinking ahead - just like Hillary blabbing about Trump being a sexist. Trump will kill her on that point. Ted and Carly are playing very poor checkers when the game is chess.

Somewhere in the back (or front) of everyone’s mind is that feeling that tells us all (for some “queasy” and for some “oh, goody”) this is NOT GOING TO TURN OUT WELL FOR TED.
IMO, it is over. His campaign might still hang on - much better bargaining position that that maniac Kasich, but second-tier nonetheless.
When you let Carly handle the flak that requires diversion and/or lying you have lost the moral imperative and there isn’t any amount of insane Glenn Beck incantation, transmogrification or speaking in tongue or snake charming that can make a Ted Cruz eventual mea culpa Jimmy Swaggart tearful “come to Jesus” repentance work to win him the day.
This day, this time - stick a fork in it, it is done.
