I got out in time. Was just down there and several streets were closed off. Fire trucks grouped around on 8th Avenue. Traffic at more than the usual standstill. No one would tell me what the problem was except one cop said Marriott. Lots of gawkers standing around watching.

Glad all is clear. On a side note, a Glenn Beck segment popped into my head. He or one of his co-hosts once suggested that a gay bar open up next to the proposed Ground Zero mosque and be named Suspicious Packages. Lol!
