While I respect your opinion when you say “I have been in grunt grassroots work since 1984.”
I have to remind you Trump has been in the media spotlight for 4 decades, way before you started grassroots work. He is the most known, most vetted candidate I can remember.
I think some have a problem with his brash personality. Some don’t like his confidence and swagger. To me NONE of that matters. I want a Pit Bull for a President!
Trump is the only ONLY candidate saying we should make NATO and other countries pay their fair share of defense expenses. Now why is that? Why didn’t Cruz or any other candidate think of that?
It’s an America First mindset and only Trump exhibits it. The rest are just a rehash of what we have now in my opinion. I don’t want a president who has been feeding at the DC trough. I want a true outsider and the only one who fits that is Trump.
I am no fan of Obama, however, I am also not a political isolationist to the point that no matter what Obama says, it will always be wrong. He was spot on when speaking about those who are oppressed, etc. Doesn't mean I like his politics or his policies, I loath them, but the subject matter he spoke on had nothing to do with politics and everything to do with showing mercy and compassion for all, including those with whom we differ.
I was on Trump’s FB page around dinnertime and scrolled down the whole page. No mention of Ted at that time.
And that is precisely why Ted is NOT as brilliant as he’s cracked up to be. Can’t get an accurate view of himself through the fog of narcissism.
If you go back a little further you will see Ted in his bloviating way accusing Trump of projection - that is the irony of it.
Wow. I bet he knows this will get worse and he doesn’t want any part of it. Honestly, whenever Trump first heard this story, I bet he was shocked. Not that he didn’t cheat a ton in his life. Just shocked that a man would run for President on the Holier Than Thou ticket, preach to America, and be so filthy dirty in sex scandals. You would have to be so stupid to think it wouldn’t backfire on you and your poor family.

Do you know what -mathematically- means?
Maybe not 'scared', as in shaking in his boots scared, but his every action telegraphs a profound lack of confidence in his own ability. He looks like a man who finds himself waaay out of his depth, and knows it.
And this seems to be increasing as it becomes more and more evident that he will not manage a first ballot win, and will go on to lose the nomination.
Nice sum up of Cruz’s known issues. Very well done.
