The ad itself mentioned Cruz by name. Cui bono?

Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time. Like Watergate.

Nixon was going to win reelection in a landslide. That didn’t prevent him from covering up Watergate.

Do you know who purchased the rights to the photo?

I’ve read it was Cruz’ campaign not the PAC. If True, then the Cruz campaign is guilty of coordinating with the PAC.

Only a true main stream media liberal elitist would think that the American public is dumb enough to not understand how people of like political opinions can coordinate their activities without crossing the legal boundary of "directing" or "controlling".

That's why the writer is working for the Washington Post.

The old 'he couldn't have done it because it's illegal' gambit.

Funny - that hasn't stopped most of them in DC yet.

Have we proven, or disproven, the claim by GQ that it was Roe who bought a copy of Melania’s photo shoot?

“It’s bold, but legal: How campaigns and their super PAC backers work together”

The money quote:

“We could capture all of this stuff if we had real rules,” said Fred Wertheimer, a longtime advocate of reducing the influence of big money on politics. “For all practical purposes, there are no prohibitions against coordination.”

As if PACs don’t understand what their candidates want without written instructions.

The story is true! They wouldn’t cover for Ted Cruz or Donald Trump for that matter.. If there was a story there they would have covered it to keep the feud going!!!

“I know that Cruz was going to win Utah anyway, by a wide margin, so violating federal law to win with 70 percent of the vote versus 65 percent is a particularly dumb idea.”

One doesn’t know, nor can one presuppose Cruz’s (or his supporters) state of mind before and after the voting

I don’t know if Cruz coordinated or not. It’s not yet clear whether Cruz’s campaign purchased the image, and gave it to the PAC, or whether the PAC acquired it separately itself. That leads to questions of coordination.

I’ve got a co-worker who thinks it hilarious to play practical jokes on people. For instance, one day Dave was scratching his nose. Our practical joker walked by and yelled out in a loud voice, “STOP PICKING YOUR NOSE, DAVE!!” Now, no matter how hard he tries to deny it, Dave has a reputation as an inveterate nose-picker.

No investigation, no checking GC, no creating the video, no question of the PAC finding $500,000, no asking from the PAC and Cruz didn't reject this AD until used for Utah.

The National Enquirer at least has some facts and will expect more next week.. We are sourcing the facts. Otherwise you are fornication with a RAT on your own. This fish has just bait the hook and getting to catch the hook and dealing him out of the water.

Writer doesn’t mention the Cruz person who attacked Melania on the Cavuto show already on March 8.

" I know a presidential candidate purposefully violating federal law is almost certainly not worth the risk."

Legally, campaigns cannot directly coordinate their efforts with outside super PACs, nonprofit organizations that do not have to disclose their donors. The PAC group that ran the naked Malania ad may have taken a big risk if they can be exposed. That is assuming Cruz does not take risks. The eligibility problem certainly is one liability that Cruz has risked and has not yet been fully addressed. We don't even know if his mother was still an American citizen when he was born. And, because that little piece of information has been swept under the rug, that tells me that Cruz sweeps things he does not want known, under the rug. The fact that Cruz uses the theme, TrusTED tells me he is using deflection politics. He uses techniques to deflect attention away from his problems like flack is used to trick radar. When he does that you know there is a target he does not want exposed. It tells me he is the opposite, that he is UNtrusTED.

You need to catch up. Cruz’s campaign manager Jeff Roe, is the one who got the license to use the photo.

Cruz campaign = obtained photo rights
PAC = paid for the ad

See? That’s a no-no! Somebody got some splainin’ to do!

But they’re got bigger scandals to tend to right now...
