The whole thing is odd, it wasn’t as if Trump was really in contention in Utah anyway, it seems sort of pointless for a dirty trick in hindsight, putting themselves in legal jeopardy to win a state that Trump wasn’t going to win in the first place.
I think Trump tried to get to issues this morning AFTER the questions posed to him on ABC.
From what I hear!. This is the sleaze who might become the next president of the United States. From what he hears? From whom? What evidence does he have for his assertion?:
he and his campaign went out and bought the cover shoot.
We should not have to rely on what Donald Trump "hears", if Donald Trump makes a flat assertion he should be able to prove it.
But note how the sleaze artist works: in the very next breath he says:
if from what I hear, he was the one, or his campaign bought the rights and give it to the super PAC.
Now we are not sure whether was Ted himself or Ted's campaign that Donald Trump "heard" bought the photos. When Donald makes things up he should at least rehearse story first.
Finally, Trump alleges that Cruz, or his campaign-whichever entity Trump decides he "heard" is involved-gave it to a super PAC, thus committing a federal crime.
The sleaze merchant has no proof, of course. But that was never Trump's style and certainly not a concern of his supporters.
But the sleaze does not stop there. Trump is a vulgarian who does not even get it that it is inappropriate for the first lady of the United States of America to be appearing nude on magazine covers. That is not "fine" it is a "very strong" act of sleaze which already has compromised our country's image around the world.
“This one time, I think Trump should move on and focus on real issues”
The problem is the Sunday shows and the reporters will continue to dog him. Let’s see if he gets asked about it on the Town Hall by CNN this Tuesday.
I sent a tweet to Trump on that very thing Thursday. As much as some folks want to dismiss the picture as being public domain, it isn't.
They either had to purchase the right to use it, or it was stolen.
the photos of themselves are not problematic I thought they were artful and tasteful ... she an attractive woman
the photos used modified with a caption as a method to attack the subject were were not
a simple question to any man.. if anybody took a photo that was out there of your wife and put some kind of caption on it on to imply something then published it as some kind of method to attack you personally....
what should be your reaction?....
you’re not going to go to the wife and say well honey I’m sorry they did that to you it’s just politics
I’ve dated two different women that did some kind of professional modeling so there’s public photos of them...
and one was a very hardcore Christian girl that had to be very selective about her photos
but still they’re not paying for photos of a woman just standing around in a nice high collar dress
this goes to both men and women out there on every side if you’ve ever bought a GQ or women a Cosmopolitan you got no room to start criticizing the models

Mr.Dem,
Do you not think that Trump has Verglas’s telephone number in his roledex? Considering that Trump arranged for the shoot, lent his plane and reviewed the photos? While I have no proof that Trump has called Verglas, it is not out of the possibility that Trump called him in the last few days and asked “What’s Up?”
They were fairly restrained, no full frontal nudity. Soft porn I guess would be the term. Models are sometimes asked to pose in various states of undress, she did what she did. I don’t know that she regrets it, but she’s not out there defending it, either. She’s a wife, mother and businesswoman now.
“All this to solidify a vote in Utah that Ted was going to win anyway. Crazy...”
I know. Is that not a stupid thing for the Cruz PAC to do. And then it looks like they have used the picture illegally. If not then they bought it which is also damning.
He’s not powerful enough to ditch them. He a junior senator back bencher. In any other political system, he would never have made it is far.
The question is, was the picture used illegally or did someone from the Cruz PAC purchase rights to the picture?
You have been AWOL without posting for over 4 years and you come back yesterday and today saying you have 1000% certainty. Just who the hell are you that you think your credibility means anything around here.
At this point both these guys and their wives are pinatas. They are both in the same pickle and need to rethink their strategy here I think.
And maybe he heard it from his campaign manager, Corey...
Good work.
And Lyin’ Ted is supposed to be such a brainiac. The guy could screw up a cup of coffee.
I think, and have been watching, that its exactly what he has done. Ted is making his 10 second attacks, and Trump is doing other things, and ignoring it. He responds only when asked, and is consistent that he had nothing to do with it. Believe me, if he had, it would be in the spotlight by now.
Follow the money; purge the criminals and liars from our political system
Share your data for a FR peer review if you got it. Otherwise, I could just as easily say I know that Jeff Roe is slime. His dirty tactics led to a candidate in MO committing suicide. It has been said that Jeff Roe paid for the pictures. So, show the evidence and prove me wrong.
Both the photographer and the model would have contractual a say in that, rights are "managed" and detrimental use would not have been approved by the model in this instance, imho.
