Trump issues statement in response to Cruz allegations he planted National Enquirer story
Twitter ^

Posted on 03/25/2016 11:56:30 AM PDT by springwater13

"I have no idea whether or not the cover story about Ted Cruz in this week's issue of the National Enquirer is true or not, but had absolutely nothing to do with it, did not know about it, and have not, as yet, read it. I have nothing to do with the National Enquirer and unlike Lyin' Ted Cruz I do not surround myself with political hacks or henchmen and then pretend total innocence. Ted Cruz's problem with the National Enquirer is his and his alone, and while they were right about O.J. Simpson, John Edwards, and many others I certainly hope they are not right about Lyin' Ted Cruz. I look forward to spending the week in Wisconsin, winning the Republican nomination and ultimately the Presidency in order to Make America Great Again.

Trump’s response sounds very presidential.

Cruz babbling on about how he wouldn’t copulate with Donald, blaming Donald for leftist BLM protests, blaming Donald for terrorism, and blaming Donald for rumors that actually started quite a while ago on Twitter from journalists themselves, blaming CNN for his rumors of Carson dropping out....

Ted Cruz always has someone else to blame. Lately he can’t say three words without two of them being “Donald Trump”.

He’s become unhinged. Whether the story is true or not is irrelevant. His handling of things like this has been abysmal.

Yet the Cruzbots will never try to blame Trump.

It was the National Enquirer that broke with the 1990s details of the Bill Clinton-Monica Lewinsky affair, they were first made public by the Enquirer. And they were correct.

Was it Trump behind that story?

It was also the National Enquirer that broke the story Rush Limbaugh was a drug addict on opiates. And they were right. Prosecutors began investigating Limbaugh in 2003 after the National Enquirer reported his housekeeper’s allegations that he had abused OxyContin and other painkillers. Rush was later arrested on drug charges.

Was it Trump behind that story?

What kind of idiots are some of these Cruzbots?

Didn’t the Enquirer also expose Clinton’s affair with Monica? Surprised he didn’t include that, but I guess that would have been a bit of overkill.

I don’t get this story. Is it that Cruz the “dominion king” and evangelical holy man is a serial sex maniac?

Somebody suggested that the pressure of running for president has become to much for him and accounts for him falling apart and making those stupid statements.

Especially the part about Cruz surrounding himself with political cronies and henchmen all out for blood and profit.

I am sure this has nothing to do with it...

Nah......the fact that NE endorsed Trump, ran a story saying Trump MUST be President, the friendship between Trump and the "rags" owner.... OR Trump's falling poll numbers.... have NOTHING to do with this scum piece.

BTW, I've already picked out "President Trump's" Secret Service "code name" should he get in the White House..."Trash King"

Say what you like about Donald Trump he certainly has pulled a lot of curtains back to reveal a large number of people feeding at the public trough.

We knew this about the Bush family, the Clinton, the Gores and the list goes on and on. The vast majority of people in Washington are on the take along with a lot of media people.

A lot of the talk radio types are spontaneously exploding all over the place. Glenn Beck’s brain has melted and currently is covering his toes. Rush Limbaugh, as hard as he tries, now shows his true colors. Mark Levin is connected to the establishment. In Houston, Michael Berry has gone off the deep end to the point he is insane. I asked a friend to listen to Berry a few days ago that had never listened to him before. There take was short and simple: “He has money to lose if Cruz loses”.

Cruz is an insider BIG TIME. The Bush family and the Saudi’s own his a$$. As an aside, the guy’s creep factor has really hit a high point, there is something just odd about him. Same for his wife, something not totally on keel about her.

Trump? He is kind of a thug. After decades of weasels stealing from us maybe we need a thug?

One of the best comments I read from a poster was this

The funny thing is, Trump says “spill the beans” and everyone is like, “these beans? Or these beans? Oh wait it must be these beans!” And more gets “spilled” than what the actual beans are.

Ain't that the truth. He doesn't even need the metaphorical "nuclear button", he's got a little blue one labeled "Tweet".

What we are seeing is projection onto Trump by crazy people, including Cruz unfortunately. Trump baits the hook and the dumbest fish bite.
