U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Warren blasted Donald Trump for his “hate-filled attacks” on her Native American heritage, disparaged his business record and labeled him “a threat” to America, previewing what one expert predicts will be her upcoming role as a peacekeeper between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.

She added: “I think that Donald Trump poses a real threat to this country, and that’s why I think it’s time to fight back against that threat.”

Trump and Warren this week waged a war of words, with him dismissing her as “the Indian” after she repeatedly assailed him on Twitter for what she said was his “flagrant narcissism,” “cheap racism” and “petty bullying.”

“Donald Trump is a 
bully, and that’s what bullies do,” Warren said yesterday.
