I’m no ecological nut-job, but this does bother me.
There’s other meat out there that isn’t in danger of becoming extinct.
Perhaps the numbers are better than I think.
I think Japan is one of the last nations to allow this. I wish the people would find a better thing to hunt down.
I live on the shore of Monterey Bay. Whales are awesome.
I too hold your views. It is sickening
I agree with you.
“Im no ecological nut-job, but this does bother me.”
Yeh, I agree -
I don’t think whales regenerate at that rate.. so it’s basically,, enjoy it while it lasts japs..
and they don’t really live in a “fishery” like say Tuna or Crab...
Heck I was surprised there were 333 Whales on the planet..
I’m a hunter and a fisher - you want to harvest something - be smart.. my 2 pennies.. never eaten a whale, not sure I ever would - but C’mon..
Leave the whales alone.
” I wish the people would find a better thing to hunt down.”
Muzzies?
“Theres other meat out there that isnt in danger of becoming extinct.”
This is a myth.
Japan does not hunt endangered species of whales.
Notice that all 333 were Minke Whales.
They are not endagered at all, and the only “list” they are
on is the “Not at Risk” list.
They are plentiful.
I think the endangered whales should not be hunted/harvested.
If there is a sign there is a reduction of Minke Whales that
would put thm in a at risk category then I would say don’t hunt them.
