Glenn Beck on Thursday suggested that GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is incompatible with Christians who take their faith seriously.
“No Christian, no real Christian – I don’t mean a judgmental Christian, I mean somebody who is living their faith – no real Christian says, ‘I want that guy, that guy is for me,’” he said during a broadcast of his radio show. "Nobody, nobody.”
Beck also argued America is moving away from its Christian underpinnings, causing myriad moral and social problems nationwide.
“I honestly don’t know what else to do,” he said. "We have got to be a people of principles. We are a Christian nation.
“Are we really?” Beck asked. "Then why are we in so much trouble? Why do we have the same kind of problems that non-Christian nations do with pornography and drugs and everything else?
“We should be setting an example if we’re actually living our Christian faith. The problem is we all say we’re living our Christian faith [and] we’re not living our Christian faith.”
Beck additionally vowed he would challenge any religion or denomination he believes is ignoring its own guiding principles.
“I’ll take on the Jews, and I’ll take on the Lutherans, and I’ll take on the Catholics, and I’ll take on the Mormons,” he said. "I’ll take them all on. You’re damn right. Where are you? You’re not living your principles.
“We’ve got to shore these things up,” added Beck, who backs Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and his GOP presidential campaign. "Somehow or the other, our side didn’t catch the memo.”
Beck has emerged as a vocal critic of Trump, arguing that the GOP front-runner does not represent conservative values.
Cruz, meanwhile, has repeatedly asserted he is the only Republican contender who can keep Trump from securing their party’s presidential nomination.
That wasn't Cruz! How dare you! It was a SuperPac that hates Trump and loves Cruz! But has nothing to do with Ted. Nothing at all. It said "vote for Ted Cruz" but it wasn't remotely actually associated with Ted Cruz. Stop posting your ca-raaaazzzzy Trumpian lies!

You may not be far off on that one. Mormon teaching is that Jesus and Lucifer both ‘ran’ to be Savior, and there was an election and Jesus won and Lucifer was a sore loser. I am not kidding and can document that with Mormon sources.

Man, beck is just one scary guy these days. He’s completely lost his sanity and any sense of reasonable judgement.
Then again Mormons think they are the only “true” Christians and all non-mormons are not real Christians anyway so maybe he meant “no Mormon would vote for Trump”

You think a guy who uses naked pics of his opponents wife in campaign ads is going to have scruples about partnering with the likes of beck?
Agreed. Cruz gave Beck praise and applause after Beck’s sermon with the fasting child in Utah. One good thing about the outcome in Utah, that poor child will be able to eat again :(
