Yea...wink wink. These things dont just happen that way. Cruz knew. His approval would have been sought and obtained. That is for certain.

There you go. You are correct. Cruz campaign did indeed interject it. Undeniable when it is in their own words. Thanks. Great catch on your part.

When is sleazy, dishonest Cruz going to accept reality that he cannot be the nominee? He’s just continuing to embarrass himself by carrying on. He goes around saying that Donald Trump is afraid (lol) but I think he may be describing himself. A fearful, worried little man.

Now Obama supporters are working with Ted Cruz?

Another lie. Enough with the lies already.

Did everyone notice the second sentence in the article?

Mr. Cruz’s supporters also seized five of Louisiana’s six slots on the three powerful committees that will write the rules and platform at the Republican National Convention and mediate disputes over delegates’...

I'm late to the thread so maybe everyone already saw that.

Google the article headline and the link there will allow you to read the whole article.

They each won 18 bound delegates. 5 more went to Rubio (dropped out) and 5 more are unpledged. That’s where the article speculates it’s “Cruz could get 10 more” figure. If Rubs releases his delegates all 10 are unpledged and can choose Cruz if they wish. That isn’t cheating.

And if Trump isn’t on the ball vis a vis electing his supporters to key convention committees that might be important if things get to a second ballot, it’s his own fault. The rules were not a secret. And that also isn’t cheating.

Don’t ever count on my vote for cruz. If MR. Trump loses due to this kind of underhanded cheating, I don’t vote, period. Not for president nor down ticket. I’ve been angry through 3 eight year terms. If we can’t get somebody who has the ability to rid us of the vermin, then I’m done for good. I’m too old to fight any more. I see a fighter with knowledge of the whole world and how to make things work to the advantage of America. He is our last hope. It’s him or Hillary and with her obama’s plans to destroy America will be completed.

We now have much as six independent polls (Bloomberg/Fox/CNN/Monmouth/Emerson/WaPo) that suggest that a Trump nominee would be a political Pearl Harbor for conservatives. Why aren’t Trumpkins taking this seriously, or is this “Dear Leader” syndrome of such effect where critical analytical faculties become paralyzed?

That is true today; hope springs eternal.

I guess you want to live in a Banana Republic?

If you steal the election for Cruz, then Hillary will get elected.

Oh and it will be the end of the Republican party.

The Republican part is over with anyway. I am not a republican...the party left me.

Don’t we already live in a banana republic?

I won’t support Hillary, but I likely won’t go out and vote for Trump. My conscience just won’t allow me to vote for such a vile human being.

There is a movement by some Cruz supporters to try to get the following resolution into a number of state Republican platforms, (including Texas), and urging the RNC to adopt it into the National GOP platform.

Be it resolved that U.S. Republican Senators and Congressmen introduce and vote for an amendment to the Constitution to define ‘Natural Born Citizen’ as a person born anywhere to at least one parent which is a U.S. citizen at the time of said birth, and shall be eligible to be President of the United States.

Are Cruz supporters so stupid as to push for this? If so, they can not truly be Consevatives. We know that the RNC is not. Have Conservatives already lost to the GOP-E, liberal/socialist/communist left and the enormous amount of illegal immigrants, including non-citizen muslims, voting illegally?

This is a very dangerous move and must be stopped. This would totally destroy our Constitution and allow foreigners, foreign governments, and radical cults to gain total control over our nation. Get involved by going to your state resolution committees and expressing your outrage at this destructive resolution, urge them to totally reject it. And if we have a States Constitutional Convention, make sure your state sends as delegates True Consrervatives that would defeat that kind of ammendment.
