Despite coming up short in states Republican presidential primary, Texan picks up more delegates and controls key convention roles.

If Trump had done this, we would be hearing about how brilliant and political savvy Trump was and what a great fighter he is.
The Cruz campaign was using this prior to that ad coming out. Prior to Florida I believe.

At about 4 minute mark.
Complete BS.
Or does that not matter either?
The thing that matters most to me is that Trump lied about it, and that you are now repeating the lie. Cruz, his campaign, and his campaign surrogates had nothing to do with this. The biggest donor to that PAC is an Obama supporter. And all of this (including the photo) is in the public domain.
Lol. Trump may be out dealt at the convention. Maybe Ted read The Art of the Deal. It might be that the better strategy was to have an effective ground game instead of running on sound bytes.
Not good. Either way, we're stuck with a Democrat for the next four years.
Posts. Trump attacked Heidi weeks ago for going through a period of depression. I guess you were ok with that. And it was Trump—not a pac over which he had no control.
You are assuming total GOPe control of the convention delegates. What is your basis for believing that? To abandon both Trump and Cruz requires well over 1000 delegates change their vote. That is a lot of arm twisting.
We are having a serious discussion here trying to sort out the degree of influence of the GOPe on the Second Ballot. And you just dismiss the issue with the wave of your hand.
Can the GOPe direct, bribe, coerce the delegates to choose Romney or Kasich?
I don’t think so. Some people agree with that POV, others, like yourself, disagree.
This is a forum after all. At least it used to be. Opinions will differ. Get used to it.
Good luck with that.
Wow, two lies in the first three words. You out-trummped Trump. It wasn't Cruz's PAC. It wasn't a super-PAC. The PAC has taken in less than $30K, and it's biggest donor is an Obama supporter. Enough with the lies already.
How absurd.
Trump beat Cruz by over 11,000 votes in Louisiana. That is more than Cruz won over Trump in five of his state wins combined.
But . . . but that's different.
So it was a pac and not a superpac. Now Obama supporters are working with Ted Cruz?
Well done Cruz. Time to expose the con artist and snake oil salesman who refuses to release his tax returns and is unwilling to have the NY Times unseal the tapes of his secret talks to its Editorial Board behind closed doors letting them know he’s not all that serious about deportation. This guy is a scoundrel who with the support of unthinking Trumpkins is taking the whole country over the cliff.
Go Ted, kick his butt.
Not true. SuperPACs are NOT surrogates. Cruz has no control over what they advertise. Besides, if Melania would expose her naked body seductively in GQ for a seven figure sum so that men can leer at her can anyone complain if this is now used as a political ad to show that we may have a First Lady Tramp in the WH? Trumpkins twist themselves into a pretzel to defend the indefensible.
The rules are win the votes, don’t steal them!
Take your pick; cheat Trump out of the nomination and Republican candidates lose 10-20% of their normal votes; it will be a tsunami in reverse with the House, Senate, Presidency, and Supreme Court going Democrat for the foreseeable future. Kiss your guns and religious freedoms goodbye because the liberal Democrats are going to rewrite the rules like CruzGopE does.

We now have much as six independent polls (Bloomberg/Fox/CNN/Monmouth/Emerson/WaPo) that suggest that a Trump nominee would be a political Pearl Harbor for conservatives. Why aren’t Trumpkins taking this seriously, or is this “Dear Leader” syndrome of such effect where critical analytical faculties become paralyzed?
He said he'd go to DC and fight the establishment and support Conservative values. We, the TEA party, gave him our support. He went to DC and fought the establishment and supported Conservative values. Now, that may not be honest and ethical by NYC liberal values, but then who cares what they think?
Looks like Im operating on old information. Sorry.
