The head of an anti-Donald Trump super PAC threatens on Twitter to file criminal charges against Trump supporters.
Liz Mair, founder of the anti-Trump PAC Make America Awesome, is under fire after launching an ad in Utah depicting First Lady candidate Melania Trump, a model, posing nude, and encouraging people to vote for Sen. Ted Cruz. Mairs ad was attacked by the establishment media for slut-shaming Melania Trump. Mair has been defending her ad, saying that she doesnt care if Melania posed for photo shoots but that Mormons in Utah probably would.
Mair, who is a dual citizen of the United States and United Kingdom, has criticized Katie Packer, who runs another anti-Trump group called Our Principles PAC. Mair made it clear that her efforts are trying to swing the race to Ted Cruz. Cruz has denied any involvement in Mairs ad...

Trump is the one who keeps using violent sounding language at his rallies,. Cruz isn’t talking about “punching them in the face” like Trump does.
Trump’s bully language invokes a response from bully types. Go to any bar and start talking trash. Who will it draw in? Human nature. Trump knows this as a salesman.

Trump Tarnishes Image for a Fistful of Dollars in Azerbaijan

Harut Sassounian 12 August 2015 excerpt:
A few years ago when Trump agreed to lend his name to a hotel in Azerbaijan, he could not have predicted that associating with a notorious Baku oligarch would not only reflect negatively on his political ambitions, but also create a serious conflict of interest should he become President.
Even though the hotel would carry his name, Trump is neither the builder nor owner of Trump International Hotel & Tower Baku. Nevertheless, he earns lucrative management fees for lending his name and expertise to the project, according to Russ Choma author of a critical article in Mother Jones magazine, titled: Donald Trump is Doing Business with a Controversial Azerbaijani Oligarch.
Trumps recently filed financial disclosures, a requirement for presidential candidates, revealed that his company received $2.5 million from Baku in 2014, even though the hotel is slated to open its doors later this year.

Donald Trump Is Doing Business With a Controversial Azerbaijani Oligarch
Russ Choma Wed Jul. 29, 2015 excerpt:

Good government and humanitarian groups consider Azerbaijan one of the world’s most repressive and corrupt countries due to the regime’s intolerance for dissent and the high degree of concentration of wealth among the politically powerful and their families. Human Rights Watch had the following grim assessment of the country:
Azerbaijan’s government has escalated repression against its critics, marking a dramatic deterioration in an already poor rights record. In recent years, dozens of human rights defenders, political and civil activists, journalists, and bloggers have been arrested or imprisoned on politically motivated charges, prompting others to flee the country or go into hiding. Bank accounts of independent civic groups and their leaders have been frozen, impeding their work, or in some cases forcing them to shut down entirely. New legal regulations make it almost impossible for independent groups to get foreign funding. While criticizing the increasing crackdown, Azerbaijan’s international partners have failed to secure rights improvements.
Mammadov has demonstrated a keen interest in American politics. He heads the Azerbaijan American Alliance, a group that at one point was registered with the US Department of Justice as a foreign lobbyist.
Last year, the alliance spent more than $2.8 million lobbying Congress and State Department to improve US-Azerbaijan relations. So far this year, the group has spent at least $500,000 trying to influence US lawmakers and officials.
Like Trump, Mammadov is a colorful figure. Educated in London, he serves as the head of his country’s golf federation and claims on his website to have a wide range of experience in “leadership, decision-making, strategy, international affairs, politics, communication, human rights, environmental protection, fundraising, public relations, sponsor relations and public speaking.” Mammadov’s personal life has been a heavily covered topic in Azerbaijani opposition newspapers, which in 2010 published reports that Mammadov had been expelled from Dubai following a raucous dinner party with friends. Azeri media outlets also reported that Mammadov had paid a local restaurant more than $1 million to slaughter a bear kept there and serve kebabs from the meat. Mammadov has denied these stories repeatedly.
In recent years, he successfully sued Azerbaijan’s two major opposition papers for libel over stories about his personal life. International press monitoring organization Reporters Without Borders condemned the suits, which financially crippled the papers, and described the legal action as part of a campaign to harass and suppress the free press.

Azerbaijan: Staying Mum on Trumps Call for a Muslim Travel Ban
December 17, 2015 - 5:38pm, by Durna Safarova excerpt:
http://www.eurasianet.org/node/76606
The vocal response in the Gulf, as well as in Turkey, to Trumps call for a Muslim travel ban contrasts sharply with the muted reaction in Azerbaijan. State-controlled mass media has largely avoided the topic, and representatives of the Azerbaijani government have not commented publically on Trumps inflammatory statements.
Our government will not respond to this issue, said Natig Jafarli, the executive secretary of the opposition movement REAL. Generally, the Azerbaijani government always prefers to remain silent in these kinds of situations.
Azerbaijani leaders have demonstrated increasingly authoritarian tendencies in recent years, carrying out a far-reaching crackdown on basic rights while taking steps to muzzle independent media outlets. On December 17, a US legislator, Christopher Smith, a New Jersey Republican, introduced a bill that would impose sanctions against members of Azerbaijans elites. Specifically, the legislation would deny visas to those who derive significant financial benefit from business dealings with senior leadership, and members of the security or judicial branches in Azerbaijan.

Hotel Project in Muslim Country Mysteriously Vanishes From Donald Trump’s Website
Russ Choma Thu Dec. 10, 2015 excerpt:
http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2015/12/azerbaijan-hotel-vanishes-from-donald-trumps-website
In July, a representative for Trump Hotel and Tower in Baku told Mother Jones that the hotel would open by the end of the year. The building appeared to be complete, and job postings suggested that staff were being hired for the property. But sometime this fall the Baku hotel disappeared from the Trump Hotel Collection.
According to Trump’s personal financial disclosure form, his company last year received at least $2.5 million to manage the property and lend his name to the project. The hotel itself is owned by Anar Mammadov, a billionaire whose father is the transportation minister in the authoritarian Azerbaijani government.
Mammadov is also the founder of the Azerbaijan American Alliance, an advocacy group that this year has spent more than $1.3 million lobbying Washington. Mammadov’s interest in US politics is seen as part of a larger effort by the country’s leadership to soften the regime’s kleptocratic image. The regime has been harshly criticized by human rights groups for its crackdown on civil society, including its near eradication of a free press.
James Fabiani, the lobbyist who represents Mammadov’s group in Washington, did not respond to a request for comment.
So has Baku gone bye-bye for the Muslim-bashing mogul? Whatever the fate of the hotel project, the GOP candidate’s Azeri business associate can’t be pleased with Trump’s anti-Muslim rhetoric. It’s not clear if Mammadov is Muslim, but more than 96 percent of Azerbaijan’s population is. A hotel with the bombastic billionaire’s name on it may no longer be a good sell in the region.
Greetings. Please see post 82. DT’s history with Azerbijian. The son is a lot like DT, or is DT a lot like the son?
She has the right to defend herself from her own stupidity and she can use the money from Sultan Un gotz n gool to arm up. For a while I thought someone said Liz Phair.
I don't apologize for things I didn't do, either.
Cruz didn't get paid to pose for those pictures, didn't take the pictures, didn't publish the pictures, didn't sell the magazine (GQ), et fricking cetera, right up to didn't approve the ad, because it wasn't from the Cruz campaign.
So Lay it out.
What do you people consider to be "enough disavowing" to satisfy you, just in case some other joker pulls more stuff on the Cruz campaign, so he can get the right amount of disavowing in the first time.
Is there a form to fill out or something?
The guy just might have other things to do than satisfy a bunch of whiny assed Trumpettes who can't understand simple English.
Cruz campaign started this prior to ad on national TV. Before Florida election.

Starts about minute 4.
Well, you can be a supporter and not be connected with the campaign.
I suppose Ted should have painted the Washington Monument over that, too?
There is no satisfying you people.
There are none so blind as those who will not see. The most deluded people are those who choose to ignore what they already know.

Matthew 6:1 "Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
This is just one of many... but the core of Cruz's misuse of the Church. Cruz uses the Faith to advance his own personal secular goals with lies and corruption. - all that with a self proclaimed 'armor of God' to deceive the flock. It is so self evidence that it is stunning that any miss it.
Matthew 6:1 Be careful not to practice your righteousness in front of others to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven.
This is at the heart of Cruz's evil. He uses the Church to deceive the flock and advance himself in the secular world. It is quite clear and you don't have to belong to Mensa to understand it.
