Comedian Garry Shandling died at a Los Angeles area hospital on Thursday, March 24th according to TMZ.
The 66-year-old star was not suffering from any illness, TMZ is reporting, so it appears this was sudden.

My parents lived into their 90s as did many of their generation. Of course, it was probably the deprivation of their youth, their religion, and their refusal to do drugs that contributed to their longevity.
