Radovan Karadzic, a Bosnian Serb, Gets 40 Years Over Genocide and War Crimes

THE HAGUE — Radovan Karadzic, the former Bosnian Serb leader, was convicted of genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity, by a United Nations tribunal on Thursday for leading a campaign of terror against civilians that included the slaughter of 8,000 Bosnian Muslims at Srebrenica in 1995 and the nearly four-year siege of Sarajevo.

Mr. Karadzic, 70, was sentenced to 40 years in prison.

The United Nations International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia convicted Mr. Karadzic of genocide for the Srebrenica massacre, which aimed to kill “every able-bodied male” in the town and systematically exterminate the Bosnian Muslim community there. The bodies were dumped in a mass grave.

Mr. Karadzic was convicted of persecution, extermination, deportation, forcible transfer and murder — but acquitted of genocide — in connection with a campaign to drive Bosnian Muslims and Croats out of villages claimed by Serb forces during the country’s 1992-95 civil war.

War is hell. Too bad he wasn’t ultimately successful. Bubba sided with the muslims in this case. Not too surprising.

What about all the mass murder and attempted genocide perpetrated by the muslims during that conflict?

I guess we let that slide.

What about all the arab muslims that went there solely to kill non muslims, many of whom settled there permanently?

Guess that’s not a big deal to our rulers.

"The United Nations International Criminal Tribunal"?

Oh, I guess these are the guys who replace our SC and judicial branch when we become the North American Union or some other borderless entity designed by the globalist Cruzs, CFR, Goldman Sachs, Soros, etc.

“....Too bad he wasn’t ultimately successful.”

Absolutely! This poor fellow gets the dimensions of the problem. And we have the worthless UN passing judgement on him. He should be a martyr for his failed efforts.

Given what’s happened this week, good to hear the Euros are spending their time and resources on crap like this.

I am coming around to the idea that this man had the right idea.

The muslim atrocities were done in such a way that there were no witnesses; no witnesses meant no atrocities. Whole village were wiped out and muslims moved in to the houses and said they had lived there for centuries.

The Serbs only wanted to move them out, not kill them wholesale. Radovan decided to kill wholesale.

Perfect timing in the context of the current Muslim jihad by young, Middle Eastern MEN who are invading Europe.
Westerners are being none too subtly warned: Don’t dare fight back. You’ll be prosecuted for genocide.

Every story about this conflict refers to “Serbs” who supposedly “massacred” Muslim MEN, as if the Serbs are hateful persecutors of the poor innocent practitioners of the religion of peace.
You will NEVER see any references to CHRISTIANS and JEWS —which is what the Serbs are—who were fighting for their lives.
It’s the same spin, over and over.

Among the Serbs Radzic is a hero, even as he is packed off to prison.

The Muslims didn't leave him any choice.

Mr. Karadzic was prescient and was vindicated by the incidents in Belgium

While those who claim that Serbs committed no atrocities against civilians during the Balkan war make their side look like idiots, it's nothing compared to the hypocrisy of those who say that this conflict was single-sided and that the Muslim Bosnians and Kosovars were solely innocent victims here.

To hear the Soros/Clintonite version of the story, the Serbs were "Nazis" and the Muslims "Jews" in this conflict, as opposed to the reality of a brutal civil war where both sides had plenty of civilian blood on their hands (the Kosovars probably even more so than the Bosnians).

Convicted by a UN muslim sympathetic tribunal.
I don’t know if he’s guilty or not but his trial was just for show.

I'd take his conviction more seriously as something other than a Kangaroo Court if the former leader of the Kosovo Liberation Army (Kosovo's current President) were also on trial for murder. But that won't ever happen.

Exactly, he did what he had to do. Time has proven the Serbs to be right. The West only heard one side of the story, thanks to NATO & our “truthful” media.

The Cancer rate in Serbia is unusually high because of the bombings. An absolute atrocity.

I want to see Clinton, Wesley Clark & Madeleine Albright tried for their crimes against the Serbian people.

muslim terrorism and the laughable UN war crimes “Tribunal” (hey, only 20+ years after the fact) do not absolve this murderer.

All this trumped-up indignation over Serb war crimes would carry a little more weight if there was at least a token effort to bring Balkan Muslim war criminals to justice. Instead, they're now heads of state (as in Kosovo).
