Ted Cruz Motive - The Theory Of Everything
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | March 20, 2016 | Sundance

Posted on 03/23/2016 12:26:43 PM PDT by mbrfl

Here's a little inside baseball from someone who actually knows the truth: the GOPe dislikes Cruz NOT because he's an outsider, but because he’s an INSIDER who decided the best way to advance himself was to bite the hand that fed him. Let's just say I am very close to someone in the GOPe machine and I’ll leave it at that.

When Ted worked for Bush, he was angling for a bigger position than he got. He actually wanted to be the Attorney General.

He thought he had more pull than he actually did, more juice because of some of his Texas connections. His marriage to Heidi was supposed to solidify his position because she was actually held in higher regard than Ted within the Texas/GOPe sphere. He was seen by the insiders as over ambitious, an opinion that was only ENFORCED by his reach to be named AG.

So Ted decided since he knew the ins and outs of the GOPe (insofar as the GOP and Bushes were one and the same), and since he couldn’t advance any further within that sphere, that he would run against them.

That’s why he’s changed his positions on everything.

That photo is so very House of Cards.
Notice how different she looks from her Sunday School teacher persona on the trail?

I thought the theory of everything was 42?

At any rate, it’s awesome that “Sundance” has come out of the shadows to tell us what his GOPe machine connection told him! Ohh, the excitement builds!

I’ll leave it to the reader to decide if this post is sarcastic.

Let's not.

Coming from someone who respects "sundance" and also dislikes Cruz, this kind of post is pure gossip and is not healthy. We Freepers should avoid participating in unsourced hearsay.

Everything Canadian immigrant Cruz has said in done has been a manipulation to fool American conservatives into supporting him. He’s a fraud.

This story does make sense now.
I always suspected this was a marriage of convenience.
She could have done so much better. I’m guessing she had no idea he was not eligible for POTUS.

Cruz talks the talk. He was very convincing to a lot of people because unlike say, Rubio, who just rattles off a bunch of conservative platitudes, he really knows the conservative positions in detail and can articulate them eloquently. But then again, he’s a lawyer. That’s what he does.

From left, Noel J. Francisco, Ted Cruz, Timothy Flanigan and Kenneth Juster at Republican Party headquarters in Tallahassee, Fla., where George W. Bush’s legal team was working in 2000.

Yeah good point.

If not for Trump many would not have figured out Cruz was just an actor and a liar.

ditto for Glen Beck and now Rush and Levin are outing themselves to me as just money hungry talkers that know how to articulate conservatism but really are just all out to make millions of dollars off us Americans

And they all have Cruz, Beck, Rush, Levin are all multi-millionaires now many times over just because they can talk and con and say things conservatives want to hear and make it sound truthful. But look at how Beck and Cruz are being exposed as frauds
