Marines brace for mandatory sensitivity training
foxnews ^ | March 21, 2016 | Todd Starnes

The Obama administration has turned the greatest fighting force on the planet into a social engineering petri dish.

Marines will soon be forced to attend “unconscious bias” training – in advance of women joining the infantry.

The seminar will focus on how people prejudge others based on factors like race and gender, and principals of institutional change.

“There’s no doubt we’re leading cultural change,” Brig. Gen. James Glynn said. “We like a challenge.”

A Center for Naval Analyses survey found a “significant majority” of male Marines opposed having women serve in ground combat jobs.

Mobile training teams will be dispatched across the Corps in May.

“The purpose of the mobile training team is to begin to facilitate the cultural change,” Glynn said.

Col. Anne Weinberg described one of the potential questions.

“In the field you’ve got three women and six guys. How are you going to billet?”

How are Marines supposed to get combat training when they are deluged with sensitivity training and equal opportunity training and sexual harassment training?

Don’t worry, President Trump or Cruz will cancel all this bull roar (I hope).

I saw this back in 1997.
A female Major was brought in to provide “training” to my Army Reserve unit.

When I saw her, I laughed out loud.
She was our battalion S-1 in Germany back in 1988-1990.
She and every female member of her S-1 staff were pregnant for EVERY training exercise or live-fire deployment to Greece. Every time. When she wasn’t completely undeployable, she was waddling around in “maternity BDUs” (WTF?) with her LBE unbuckled, barking orders to compensate for her inability to perform.

We are SCREWED.

"Government brainwashing. Constitutional????"

See post number 14. The military has always conditioned their charges to group think and follow orders. As an organization, the military could not function otherwise. This might work to strategic advantage. I certainly wouldn’t want to tangle with a squad of Marines who just had to sit through a session of this BS.

What. The. F...?? This is treason. This traitor in the White house is doing this deliberately so our enemies can laugh and mock us and no doubt use those photos to recruit. “Come and fight the sissy US Marines”. Oh God let me out of here before I smash my computer. I will never ever forgive this Republican party for not drawing up articles of impeachment against this sonovabitch. They did it for Clinton for lying, well my God what about treason? Releasing 5 Taliban for a defector, reinforcing the enemy by holding a clearance sale at Gitmo, arming and then defending Al Qaeda after they kill 4 Americans including a US Ambassador, pulling troops out of Iraq with the express purpose of giving advantage to the enemy on and on an on.

In the late 70s the company where I worked had an operators meeting one afternoon after work.

There was a “motivational” speaker speaking on how we should motivate people to work by talking to them without hurting their feelings or some such.

They asked the operators one by one how they got their people to work and each one came up with some feel good BS on how they got their people to work by talking to them without hurting their feelings.

The VP of the company asked me how I got my crew to work since my crew was always the #1 crew each month on work done.

I told him if someone didn’t want to work I would leave for 30 minutes and let the rest of the crew “talk” to them.

When I came back the guy that didn’t want to work before was working or he was gone.

Funny thing the guys that left were a clumsy bunch they always seemed to fall on their face several times when they left the job.

‘We’re leading cultural change.’ How the Marines are preparing for female infantrymen

By Dan Lamothe March 18,2016
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/checkpoint/wp/2016/03/18/were-leading-cultural-change-how-the-marines-are-preparing-for-female-infantrymen/

The Marine Corps expects it could have its first female recruits joining the infantry by early next year, and is now moving forward with a plan to prepare for it and change a culture that is in some corners resistant to change, service officials said.

The efforts include sending mobile training teams to units this year to have colonels and lieutenant colonels consider biases they may have, said Marine Col. Ann Weinberg, who has overseen aspects of the service’s integration research. The service also will require that battalions in which female infantrymen will eventually arrive must first have a couple female leaders in positions such as supply officer. It’s very unlikely there will be any other women in their chain of command at first, however.

“The thought is that over time, it will work itself out,” said Brig. Gen. James Glynn, an infantry officer who is now the Marine Corps’ director of public affairs. “With a dense enough population, it will work itself out. We won’t have to physically manage it. Is that going to play out? Time will tell.”

The service’s all-male infantry has long been seen as resistant to integration, with three out of four active-duty infantry opposed to the change in a 2012 survey released through the Freedom of Information Act to The Washington Post last week. Marine officials argue sentiment has changed some since then, but it’s unclear how much.

The last Marine Corps commandant, Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, recommended last fall to Defense Ashton B. Carter against opening the infantry to women.

Carter did so anyway, saying he could see no reason to grant exceptions. The new commandant, Gen. Robert B. Neller, has promised to make sure the service carries out the directive, and the service gathered a handful of reporters Thursday to describe how they will do so.

The Marine Corps plans to allow female recruits to begin attending boot camp with plans to join mechanized combat units, such as tank battalions, June 1. Women will be allowed to attend boot camp to become enlisted infantrymen beginning Oct. 1, meaning the first female infantrymen coming from initial training likely will not arrive until early 2017, after they attend infantry school.

But the service could see some female infantrymen before then. As part of research carried out ahead of intergration, women were allowed to attend enlisted infantry training, and 233 graduated. At the time, they were not allowed to join infantry units, but the service is now allowing them to apply for a “lateral move” and swap jobs.

“Because we did this year-long effort research effort and we sent women through those infantry schools and artillery schools and [light armored vehicle] schools, those women who are currently Marines right now and they’re probably corporals or sergeants, we’ve given them an opportunity to say, ‘I would like that. I would like to move into that [job] as my primary,” said Col. Ann Weinberg, who oversaw aspects of the service’s research effort.

No woman has done so yet, and anyone who does so has to weigh becoming an infantryman against leaving behind success they may already have in their current jobs. Marines regularly swap jobs as they re-enlist, but those who do so have to compete with others in their new professions for promotions and assignments.

Glynn acknowledged that Marine leaders are still getting questions from rank-and-file troops about why they have to integrate women. One change already made is the adoption of an initial strength test for potential male and female recruits interested in combat jobs. They must complete at least three pull-ups, finish a 1.5-mile run within 13 minutes and 30 seconds, knock out 44 crunches within two minutes and lift a 30-pound ammo can 45 times within two minutes.

“There’s no doubt we’re leading cultural change. It’s not the first time that’s happened in the Marine Corps,” Glynn said. “We’ve been known to take challenges head-on. The purposes of the mobile training teams is to begin to facilitate the cultural change. Quite honestly… we need the questions. We need to have that honest conversation in a small group setting and let the differences of opinion come out. Because you know how that stuff occurs over time. You’ve just got to have the conversation.”

That’s the thing about Marines. They will listen to Marines they respect. But anyone else is regarded as about the same as some Imperial Japanese interrogator telling them that if they just bow down before a picture of the Emperor, then all will be well.

“Mobile training teams will be dispatched across the Corps...”

If these are ‘civilian pukes’, it will accomplish precisely zero. The level of contempt and disdain will be impressive as the average Marine imagines them doing something indecent with a blow up doll.

If these are other Marines ordered to carry out the indoctrination, it will be as heartfelt as their reciting a phone book.

If these are other Marines who actually care about doing this shiat, the other Marines will see them as turncoats who have turned traitor, forgetting their oath.

When you set out on your first azimuth, tie the ladies to a tree and cover them with cammo net. Try to remember to stop back and pick them up on the way out.

It’s the best you can do to keep from getting killed.

If they’re contemptible enough to do something like that, the proper response is to return their contempt by lying to them.

The Death of the US Marine Corps

By Ray Starmann MARCH 21, 2016
http://usdefensewatch.com/2016/03/the-death-of-the-us-marine-corps/

The US Marines are the latest casualty in the Maoist Cultural Revolution being shoved down the throat of the military and incinerating the fighting spirit and readiness of the armed forces like a five alarm fire.

As reported this week by Military.Com, Marines across the Corps will be challenged on their unconscious prejudices and presuppositions as women get the opportunity to become grunts for the first time.

Unconscious prejudices and presuppositions defined as simple facts such as women lack the upper body strength, the aerobic lung capacity, testosterone for aggressiveness, are more prone to injuries, while possessing a myriad of hygiene issues in the field that men do not encounter.

The Marine Corps is rolling out mandatory training for all Marines before the first future female rifleman hits boot camp, aiming to set conditions for a smooth transition and head off cultural resistance.

Mobile training teams will be dispatched to installations across the Corps throughout May and June to offer a two-day seminar to majors and lieutenant colonels, Col. Anne Weinberg, deputy director of the Marine Corps Force Innovation Office, told reporters Thursday. Those officers will then train the Marines under them.

Mobile training teams defined as modern day Soviet Zampolits, or political officers, who will travel the world in order to brainwash Marines that this catastrophe is doable and un-negotiable.

Topics include unconscious bias, which focuses on how people prejudge others based on factors such as race and gender, and principles of institutional change. The seminar will also walk officers through the elements of the Corps’ plan for opening ground combat jobs to women and include vignettes featuring challenges units might encounter.

Challenges may vary and include losing wars, getting a lot of young Marines killed and being the laughing stock of our enemies worldwide.

“You’re in the field, you only have this certain amount of space for billeting and you’ve got three women and six guys. How are you going to billet?” Weinberg said, describing a potential vignette. “Just some of these common sense things that these units probably haven’t had to deal with so that ground combat units haven’t had to deal with, but we’ve been dealing with in the rest of the Marine Corps for generations.”

Newsflash to Colonel Weinberg from the USMC Innovation Office, aka Berkeley Pentagon Detachment: there are no billets in the field REMF! Your billet is a piece of ground.

The Marine Corps rolled out a “commander’s tool kit” of optional online classes on similar topics in late 2014 as the service prepared for the possibility of an integration mandate.

USMC Commander’s Tool Kit in 2016 includes: pregnancy simulators, breast pumps, tactical lactation station overlays, red high heels and the proper procedure to set up a unisex latrine.

A Center for Naval Analyses survey of 54,000 Marines recently obtained by The Washington Post gives context to the need for training on cultural and institutional resistance as female Marines go infantry. The report found that a significant majority of male Marines at every rank opposed the decision to have women serve in ground combat jobs. The resistance was strongest among male junior officers in the ranks of captain and below, who opposed women in ground combat jobs at a rate of more than 72 percent. At least a third of female Marines at every rank were also opposed to the idea.

The troops have spoken. They know an impending cluster when they see one.

“There’s no doubt we’re leading cultural change. It’s not the first time for the Marine Corps, but we like a challenge,” said Brig. Gen. James Glynn, director of the Marine Corps’ office of communication. “The purpose of the mobile training team is to begin to facilitate the cultural change … you’ve got to have the conversation.”

This isn’t going to be a challenge, General Glynn, it’s going to be a genuine, Grade A debacle that will lead to disaster, destruction and defeat on the field of battle.

What’s in it for you General Glynn? What’s it worth now to sell out the greatest fighting force on the earth to a bunch of Marxist social engineers?

It’s more than obvious that the Marine Corps brass and the Pentagon could care less what ordinary Marines think. The average Marine, like the average soldier, airman and sailor is being abandoned by their senior officers who have the backbone of jellyfish.

Women are being shoved into the combat branches of the Marines, even though most of them want nothing to do with the infantry, armor, artillery, the Marine Raiders and Marine Recon.

Women are being shoved into the combat branches of the Marines, even though women went 0 for 26 last year at the Marine Infantry Officers’ Basic Course.

Women are being shoved into the combat branches of the Marines, even though all female units and coed units performed far worse during various combat simulations conducted by the Corps during a several month long, 36 million dollar study that was completely ignored and tossed out the window by Secretary of the Navy and all-around lackey, Ray Mabus.

Nothing matters to the social engineers: readiness doesn’t matter, combat power doesn’t matter, unit fighting spirit doesn’t matter; plummeting morale doesn’t matter.

Nothing matters except the implementation of this insanity, the Marine Corps be damned.

The Pentagon perfumed princes and princesses are very clever. They have put the burden of brainwashing a whole generation of Marines on the shoulders of Majors and Lieutenant-Colonels, the middle managers of the Marines, who usually have families and responsibilities and the fear of being tossed out of the Corps and out into the big, bad world of unemployed ObamaLand.

The middle management of the Marine Corps is malleable, unlike junior officers, many of whom have no desire to make the Marines a career and who would gladly tell Ray Mabus where he can stick his gender neutral nightmare Marine Corps.

A majority of the civilian social engineers and the military minions have never served a day near any shot and shell. They have no clue what it takes to storm the ash laden hills of Iwo Jima, to hit the beach at Tarawa, to cringe under machine gun fire at Hue, to race to the gates of Kuwait City, to fight shoulder to shoulder in Fallujah. They have no clue what it’s like to be dirty and tired and terrified and to know that the only thing keeping you going is the knowledge that the Marines around you are the toughest, roughest sons of bitches on the planet.

Well, no more…

Requiescat in Pace United States Marine Corps…

As for Weinberg, Glynn, Mabus and the rest of the moral cowards and Quislings, you are going down in history as modern day Benedict Arnolds who will be responsible not only for the death of the US Marine Corps, but for the deaths of future Marines in battle.

As for the Chairman of the JCS, General Joe Dunford, we’re about to send out a search party for you sir.

General Joe, this is US Defense Watch. Radio Check, over…

From what i've learned, both characteristics ("group think and following orders" along with "world's best propaganda") were active in the Civil War.

The propaganda made the war about slavery (after the fact) instead of independence, which is what was really the bone of contention. The "group think and following orders" resulted in men leaving their homes to go to other people's lands and to their fight and subjugate their brothers who had never bothered them, just because their boss told them to do so.
