The terror attacks in Brussels on Tuesday pose the worst kind of foreign policy dilemma for President Obama, pitting his instincts that he’s doing all he can to defeat the Islamic State against intense political pressure for him to do more.
Obama has been making the case for months that his strategy to defeat the Islamic State and protect Americans at home is slowly working. White House aides speak repeatedly of the 40 percent of the Islamic State’s territory taken back from the group in Iraq and the 20 percent wrested away in Syria. They cite the impact of more than 11,000 U.S. military airstrikes, which they say have killed more than 10,000 front-line fighters.
More quietly, they strike cautionary notes. “This may be the most complicated conflict of our generation,” said a senior administration official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to comment frankly.

This author obviously agrees with Obama that ‘his strategy is slowly working’. Our country used to be the leader of the world. Obama’s leading from behind has destroyed our relationship with most of our allies, while he cozies up to all our (former) enemies. I am disgusted that he and his family went to a baseball game after only devoting 50 seconds of audio time to the terrorist attacks in Brussels.

They claim that Obama is doing all he can to defeat ISIS yet they have occasionally written that the major military leaders have said, under oath, that he has not, and that his policies are a foregone failure.
Obama knows what he is doing will fail and that is what he wants, a humiliated America (Iran, Cuba, Syria, No. Korea, Red China, Russia/Ukraine and Baltic States, Venezuela, Bolivia, Mexico).

Obama took an awful lot of heat over beheadings of Americans and allied partners. Since that fiasco, have we seen any more? The answer is "No". Obama required it be halted or at least not filmed and distributed to the media.
